“The hotel is beautiful, and very close to Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Charleston, and so many other places, such as the Patriots Point Naval Museum (highly recommend that place as well). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast here is probably the best my wife and I have had at any hotel. The only negative was the parking. We were constantly needing to call the front desk to get through the gates in the parking deck. And there seemed to be no short cuts from the parking deck to the hotel rooms. We were only there for a single night, so those negatives were not a big deal. We would definitely stay again in the future.”

“Enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, with lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. The Shem Creek Boardwalk is right outside the door and is a very pleasant place to stroll around and check out the creek and marsh as well as all of the boats tied up or coming and going. If you are a birdwatcher like I am there are plenty of birds to see! The restaurants can be a little loud in the evening, but everything quiets down before 10:00, so no disturbance to sleep, and the hotel is quiet overnight. Overall a great experience, and will definitely return next time we visit Charleston!”

“Joe at the reception and John at the kitchen are really hospitable and helpful. The room is pretty new without any issues. And the location feels safe, quiet, and upscale. Overall a great experience.”

“We worked with Kathy at the front desk who was so helpful, kind, and friendly. We had just left another hotel with a bad experience, so meeting Kathy was a Godsend. Our rooms were great. Newly renovated (4th floor) room, with the construction crew on 3rd floor. The noise didn’t bother us because they stopped working at (pm and we were gone during the day. Hilton always has the best mattresses! The breakfast was great and when they ran out of orange juice one of the staff ran to store to buy more. Thank you Kathy for a nice stay.

Rooms: Great newly remodeled room. Great location for shopping.”

“We made an impromptu overnight stay in Mt. Pleasant and chose Red Roof from a Google search...mainly for the price.
We were surprised to find very nice accommodations, a pool, a location close to Patriot's Point and other interesting sites.
It was a short walk to find excellent food choices, a shopping center and easy access to the Ravenel Bridge and Charleston.
So glad we found this hidden gem.
We will be back!”

“When I booked this i thought it was closer to the beach. It took about 10 minutes to get to the beach. Which is not a long time but my issue is more with the hotel. We stayed at another sleep inn in Charleston. The beds there were amazing. But the beds at this location were less than average they were not soft at all. the pillows once you laid on them became paper thin. the smell of smoke lingered. The bathroom door was hard to close. The shower was nice. But not a lot of shelf space to put your items though. Had to place them on the floor of the shower. I really wish hotels did not have carpet. Carpet inside your home is fine but a carpet in a hotel when you have hundreds of people coming in and out during the week is kind of gross. This hotel did have a roach problem considering it was near the beach I thought this would've been nicer, but we won't be staying at this hotel again. Also, the card access from outside the pool area did not work so we had to walk all the way to the front no matter where we parked. Not all sleep inn are made equally.Rooms: Considering this location had some restoration I couldn't really tell. The beds were hard the pillows sucked. The bedding was thin. The sliding door to the bathroom would not shut completely, and I really dislike carpet in a hotel.Nearby activities: The beach is about 10 minutes away. They have a ton of shopping centers, restaurants in downtown is about 10 minutes awaySafety: I did feel safe staying there.Food & drinks: Monday through Friday the breakfast lacks. They only serve sausage and extras on the weekends. The lady who helps serve the breakfast on the weekends was super nice. The hotel did have a roach problem near the coffee machines, which I don't think anyone noticed because they were small, but I noticed, and they need to spray.”
