We are not from this area and just needed somewhere to run in and pick up a cake and few more items. Staff was very friendly and we were checked out quickly. The store was clean.

Horrible store with horrible service. Do yourself a favor and go to the Whole Foods directly across the street and have a much better experience.

I was sold salmon that smelled awful and had a vein in it that was not obvious by a visual inspection. I went to the store on Houston North Cut and was told by the manager (an older black gentleman) that I had to bring in the rotten fish to receive a refund. I believe this is an unrealistic and ridiculous expectation. I understand that one could take advantage of the return policy, but this particular manager was clearly promoted without proper training. He didn’t even want to hear why or what my problem was. He was dead set in not working with me. I believe this is actually against the stores policy for fresh meats. I’ve never had a problem with Harris Teeter until this. Hopefully he can be retrained or just retire because his attitude was not what I’ve come to expect from Harris teeter. I called customer service and resolved the situation but this particular person has no business being in charge of anything involving customers.

Great products, produce, meats & seafood. It is a bit expensive, and there is this Produce Manager, Lawrence, who is rude and grouchy. Otherwise, ok.

I love shopping at grocery stores and being profiled with my pregnant wife as I complete self checkout ? the manager here is horrible- thanks for making me feel extremely uncomfortable.
