Happy Nails and Spa in Mount Pleasant is a gem! From the moment you walk in, the harmonious ambience sets the tone for relaxation. One of the first things I noticed was the absence of the strong acrylic or acetone smell you often find at nail salons – a huge plus!
The staff here is incredible – warm, welcoming, and professional. It’s truly a family affair, with Tran as the new owner, supported by his son Tristen, daughter Tiffany, and niece Sofia. Their care and attention to detail shine through in everything they do.
Both my husband and I indulged in a manicure and pedicure, and the experience was nothing short of pampering. I also had brow and lip waxing done, and the results were fantastic. To top it all off, we were delighted with a glass of very cold cava, adding that extra touch of luxury to our visit.
If you’re looking for a high-quality, family-run spa that truly values its clients, Happy Nails and Spa is the place to go. We’ll definitely be returning!

Sweet family. Treated my little cousin and grandma very well and sweetly. Tristan made my grandma so relaxed she was about to fall asleep during her foot massage and she’s hard to calm down 😂. Her French tips were painted precisely by Tiffany. This family doesn’t play around with nails, they actually put effort into what they’re doing. Tiffany also precisely did a manicure on my little cousin. I could tell she wanted to do it perfect and the right way. Our experience was way more nicer than the more well-known nail salons in Charleston. I remember in the past we got a pedicure from Luxia and they did it sloppy and quick. Happy Nails triumphs in terms of quality and attitude too. Furthermore while I was waiting, they said I could wait in the comfortable massage chairs and offered my family and I drinks. (They freely serve alcoholic drinks and sodas😊). I had a nice talk with the family when I was waiting and they are professional yet down to earth. Very polite, commentating, and experienced. The atmosphere is clean, including the bathroom. If you choose Happy Nails as your nail salon, be prepared to have the prettiest and best nails ever! Shoutout to Phillip, Tran, Tristan, and Tiffany! 💖

Not Happy. I’ve been going here for four years until yesterday. I walked in and there were only two customers and no computer to sign in on. The man told me to sit down and I asked if Tina was there and he said yes, she was on break. She wasn’t there at all; I waited 40 minutes, because Tina is worth waiting for, and then when I asked again he said she was on vacation -then he said he doesn’t know when she’s coming back. No apology, nothing. I walked out. Find a place where (new) mgt. cares. There are too many good nail salons around MP to waste your time at Happy Nails.

Wonderful experience! I was greeted by a kind gentleman who helped assist me in picking out my nail color. Once I took my seat in the pedicure chair, another gentleman was very soft and attentive to my feet. Another woman came and painted my toes at the end. They did a beautiful job and I am so happy. I highly recommend this nail salon. My understanding is they are under new management and they exceeded my expectations.

Would prefer to give zero stars. Did not have a pleasant experience in this place. I’m visiting for New York for a wedding. I received a pedicure before I arrived but I didn’t like the color so I wanted to change it. We arrived at this Nail salon early it was empty. I was wish 2 other people who were receiving services. The main person (I believe her name is Lee) did not say hello or greet us. I was getting the least services so she just told me to sit in the last chair. I was on the phone so I was sitting and standing- she made a comment. Another staff member arrives and she was told to service me. She starts to take off the current polish color and states that color change is $35. I was a little shocked and it probably showed on my face. The main person pops out of her chair leaves her customer and says - You should know, anyone that goes to a salon should know, what do you want to do. Very aggressive using her hands and arms. It almost felt like she was trying to be mor relatable because I am of color but I could be wrong. I shared that I’m not from this state so maybe prices are different from what I know and a color change is $10 where I’m from but it’s ok I was just asking what’s included in the fee and I don’t have a choice at this point because half of the polish is off already. I suggested that moving forward for new people and walk ins they should quote the prices so that one is aware and prepared. I never asked for gel. I just want the color change with regular polish. She then said that it’s $20. Then the text servicing me started saying things to trigger frustration like you should know if you go to salon and something else I didn’t understand because of her accent. Then Lee proceeded to say then it’s free and flinging her hands and her chin towards the air as if I was forcing her hand. I received the service and will attach a pic because she did a ok job. Afterwards she got up and walked away didn’t tell me dry the polish or where to go to dry. I had to ask someone else. Which is why I’m leaving the review. The aggression and lack of courtesy, patience and empathy was not called for. If you are of color or new looking for a nail place DONT GO!! I’m from New York and we are aggressive and can take what we dish out but even I was surprised at the unnecessary treatment.

Although the staff is very friendly…I will never return. I just got my toes done tonight with gel polish and it’s already coming off. They do not use the UV light when using gel polish on the toes. I chose the same gel polish for my hands and feet so I have no idea why the polish on my toenails are green and fingernails are blue.Cleanliness: Very clean

Ms. Lee has once again exceeded my expectations and gave full attention to detail. I could never recommend a better more caring salon. It is impossible to leave anything less than walking on air ????
