My son and I have taken kite surfing lessons in several places, and the lessons we took here where the best by far. You go out on jetskis to an island with very few peole around so you don't have to worry about getting tangled up with other kitesurfers as you are learning. Carlo and Michael asked a lot of questions to determine what our skill levels were and then gave us excellent physical instruction as well as providing the technical part of the why it works that way. They were both very patient and enthusiastic and just good people. JP the manager was very proactive and honest with his communication on wind conditions and when conditions were going to be good. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone learning kite surfing. Thanks!!!

I highly recommend Force. It has been a very good experience working with them. I am (was) brand new to kiteboarding. I just completed lessons with Collin McQueen. He was an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable and friendly. He provided video clips of my lessons which was a huge help. Being able to review the things that I did right/wrong really helped speed up the learning process. Collin also gave me good advice on gear, the Charleston kiteboarding scene, weather conditions and encouraged me to go out on my own and be an independent kiteboarder.

I never write reviews but I am making an exception for FORCE due to the overwhelming generosity and helpfulness from this establishment. I went to the store with a couple of old, worn out kites looking for help to repair them. I showed Stan, the owner, my kites outside the shop and started to discuss my situation. He listened to me explain what was wrong with the kites and explained how one of them was totaled and wasn't worth the repairs and laughed about the second kite because it was in such bad shape he was impressed I could even fly it. He told me that instead of selling me various parts to repair these kites that aren't even safe to use that he would rather find something in the shop to sell me instead but only if I agreed to throw both my old kites in the dumpster outside the shop. A bit apprehensive, I agreed and we went in to the shop. The guys ended up finding me a demo kite in pristine condition, a harness and they even threw in an old board for less than it would have cost me to repair one of my old kites. Overall my experience with FORCE was a rare occurrence that I don't see often these days. It has the genuine local business feel where all the guys are cheerful and amicable. I left feeling taken care of and looked out for as a customer. After that experience, I can say that FORCE has earned all my future business for my kitesurfing needs.

Force saved my vacation! After driving my lift efoil 8 hours to Maine, my remote didn't work. They responded to me on a Sunday when they were closed, and overnighted me a new remote so I could enjoy it for the majority of my vacation. Couldn't be more thankful! In a world where most companies don't care at all about customer service, these guys went above and beyond.

My experience with FORCE has been fantastic! While all of the instructors I worked with were excellent, Collin in particular went above and beyond what was expected. His teaching approach got me up and flying on foil in a short time span, despite the fact that I had no prior foiling experience. His dedication to his craft showed, as he would send helpful lesson video footage for review so that I could learn from my mistakes. When the conditions were favorable, he would reach out and get me on the books, even with short notice. I cannot speak highly enough of Collin and the FORCE team!

These guys kept an eye on the weather for a week for us and ultimately had the honesty and forthrightness to tell us that for how much we'd be paying and driving, the weather made it not worth it.Definitely coming back to them next opportunity. They value your experience and aren't willing to sacrifice your good time to make a dollar.

Had a great e-foil lesson with Force Kite and Wake !! Had a blast and flew some. Collin Mcqueen was great, patient, knowledgable, friendly, a real professional! I would highly recommend him and Force Kite and Wake for lessons. He helped me get flying on my first lesson

I had an awesome wing foiling lesson with Collin! I have a little bit of experience with foiling (about 6 times) and I was up and riding in no time! I learned a lot- having a great instructor, great gear and conditions really helped.

These guys do a great job. My instructor was Carlo and I really appreciated his teaching style. He asks you questions, makes you think, and has you do the work yourself, providing hands on coaching. Although intimidating, it’s by far the most effective way to learn and retain information. Having the ski right next to me was also very valuable. I advanced much more in this 3 hour session than I did with a different kite coach in Florida. Highly recommend.
