Goldbug was the perfect venue for my son's rehearsal dinner. Chance was so helpful and accommodating. We had an oyster roast and low country boil catered by Charleston Bay Gourmet. A good time was had by all. I highly recommend Goldbug for any event!

We held a rehearsal dinner here and could not have asked for a better venue to work with! Chance was great from start to finish. Having the tables and chairs on site was great, and the cost to create a floorplan and have the venue arrange and break them down was minimal. Our guests loved the beautiful views of the water and the venue felt very private and intimate. We had the band set up outside on the porch and the acoustics were great. The Crazy Dutchman catered and steamed oysters right on site. It was the perfect venue for our event and we would love to work with the Gold Bug again in the future!

Would highly recommend for a special event. Both inside and outside spaces were awesome, and the staff are so very helpful and customized a lot for us. We LOVED working with them!

An Island Iconic gem that offered our guests both indoor and covered outdoor gathering spots to listen to the band all while viewing the intracoastal waterway. Thrilled to also have on-site table and chairs options that were set up and broken down for me for a very reasonable cost. Great local option for any gathering.

This was the best venue I could of hoped for for my big day! Very affordable and Chance Nilsen was such a pleasure to deal with! He definitely took away a lot of stress that comes with planning a wedding! I highly recommend this Venue!
