I have been going to Chelle's Organic Hair Salon for a couple of years now and Chelle is a master of color and gives a great cut at very reasonable rates. I love the fact that the organic hair color is odorless, completely covers gray and lasts just as long as mainstream color products. The result is exceptionally shiny, healthy hair. To compliment the color, she uses Organic Colour Systems products, which includes a variety of shampoos and conditioners depending on your hair type. I never bought hair products from other salons, but I now love using the organic products for my hair type between appointments. Organic Colour Systems products are made in Great Britain, which has very stringent laws in place regarding cosmetic safety, Many US products are banned in the UK, which can be verified online. I have complete confidence in, and highly recommend the very talented Chelle and her fabulous hair care products.

I am absolutely grateful to discover Chelle's Organic Hair Salon. Chelle is everything you would want in a hairstylist, great personality, knowledgeable, patient, takes the time to ask questions, listens to answers, concerns, desires, and explains every process in great detail, even how to get the same effect while styling my own hair at home. Her products are quality products that are very gentle on my hair and scalp. I trust all of her suggestions/advice 100%.

I went to Chelles hair salon a few months ago and paid $300 for a partial highlight and cut even though the website said $160 for partial. My scalp started to burn after I left her salon and when I looked in the mirror, I could see my scalp and forehead where rapidly getting more and more red and itchy, and a few days later my hair started to fall out. I normally wouldn’t leave a bad review but when I tried to contact her about what was happened to my hair she responded very rudely and dismissive. It has now been a few months and my scalp is still tender to the touch and my hair is falling out in globs every day. I have been getting my hair dyed for at least 15 years now and have never experience anything like this before and it’s very unfortunate. I am just saying this because I don’t want you to see the word “organic” and think it’s automatically a right fit and good for your hair, make sure you do your research first!Services: Hair coloring

Love going to Chelle and feel like I have a hairstylist all to myself. I was nervous about getting a perm but I have to say this is probably the best I’ve ever had. It’s been over 20 years and I have long hair so again this was an anxious moment. Absolutely love it I can style it out or let it go curly and it’s perfect. Chelle was recommended by a close friend and I am so thankful I finally made an appointment to get my hair cut. I was looking for a stylist in Mt. Pleasant and Chelle is the real deal. She knows hair and gave me the best cut I've ever had. She was attentive and listened to give me exactly the cut I was wanting. Prior to my visit I sent pics to her of the style I like and she matched it perfectly. I can't wait to try the organic hair color as I've been doing my own color for a few months now. I don’t even know where to begin!! I cannot say enough good things about this stylist!!! After an unfortunate event with 2 other stylist (different salons) damaged my hair, Chelle repaired, colored and cut my hair. I had a melty, noodley,super dry and breaking off whenever touched mess of hair BEFORE coming to her. After seeing Chelle, my hair and confidence are on the road to recovery with a cute cut and amazing color. She took the time to explain what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. She didn’t push extra services or products that weren’t needed. She was very clear with telling me that doing a base color with the compromised integrity of my hair at that moment was not something she would recommend and then suggested what would work to give me the color I wanted while protecting what was left of my hair and explained how it would look, what the next appointments would look like etc. I appreciated her honesty immensely. It’s apparent that she truly wants what’s best for her clients.She was so supportive and positive! She even took extra time to teach me how to style my new short hair! My hair is now soft and no longer like a broomstick and breaking off. If you want the best hair experience with top of the line (repairs noodley hair) hair products, is organic, cruelty free, vegan and the very best stylist in the area, then make an appointment with Chelle!! Absolutely, hands down, best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. She listens to you, talks- how, where, when, why, with you to get exactly the results that you are after. When I moved from NY to SC, I was very concerned about finding the same organic hair coloring system I had been using, as I had tried several others with mediocre results. I finally located Chelle's in Mt. Pleasant, an hour and 20 minutes away!Chelle is worth every minute of the drive. Immediately I could tell that Chelle knew her stuff and was very well trained on the coloring system, actually better than my colorist in NY!She is a sweet, caring, professional and will always try to accommodate your appointment needs. After listening to your goals, she then can give you an advice and a plan on how to reach the goal that you have and make your hair look absolutely amazing. Chelle uses organic hair products that not only smell amazing, but also give your hair that luscious and luxurious look. Chelle is very flexible and will do her best to find the best time for your appointment, she knows her clients by name and deeply cares about their comfort and well-being. This is by FAR the best hair salon that I have ever been to and I have been to many expensive places in Charleston, all over the country and in Europe. Chelle is an excellent hair stylist! I have been seeing her for almost 2 years now and always feel confident when she cuts my hair. I love that her products are safer and she personally tests out the products on herself too. She has always listened to my requests and never disappoints. She is quick to accommodate my schedule. I think that it is overpriced, I spent $200 for my daughter who wanted highlights. The color is not what my daughter was hoping for and the highlights are not properly distributed. They are mainly underneath so visvisible mainly when she puts her hair up in a bun.
