The location is awesome. But that’s it. The queen “superior” room has 2 beds and a bath with small balcony. That’s it. For the price it’s not worth it. I’ve had better rooms with all the amenities (I.e., kitchen, couch, sitting area, etc.) for a LOT less money with comparable locations. And neighbors slamming doors early in the morning make the stay even worse. I do not recommend this hotel/“resort”. Two thumbs down. ??

Not sure where to begin. We do travel a lot. First the resort is very nice and clean , amazing outdoor, pools etc . Rooms are also clean , big and comfortable. Now downside- if you are counting on internet- there’s NONE ! WiFi is not working, they are pretending something is wrong every single time you go to them but it’s just simple lie. We Spoke with multiple people everyone has same issue- WiFi is not existent!!! There was some things not working in the room like safe , we also asked if they can exchanged batteries - it seems like nobody cares . Food in the restaurant is awful and overpriced, please do yourself a favor don’t go there especially for a breakfast . Overall if I would give this place 5 stars , there’s a huge potential but they need to change the service and listen to the people, especially when they are paying $400 plus another $100 extra fees ( and they have many of them ) per night.Rooms: Clean , largeFood & drinks: Really badNoteworthy details: WiFi is NON EXISTENT!!

Fantastic location. Room was damaged, mold on ceiling, carpet dirty, horrible hot water for showers.

Called these guys to ask about docking our dinghy for the day so we could check out the Patriots Point Museum. Sorta got told that we had to pay a transient day rate, then got told he’d call us right back. But alas never heard a word back.

Amazing resort! Absolutely beautiful with wonderful views. Lovely decor inside, and pool area is spacious and VERY nice. Adjacent to the hotel is the Charleston Fish House, which also has amazing views, and the food is very good! All around, this resort is exceptional.

So we stayed here for 3 days. (Friday to Sunday) And let me tell you what happened. So from the lobby and outside it looks good, but not really. Both of the elevators suck, when going to the first floor, it’s okay, but when going to a higher floor, one of them creaks and its a little scary. Floor number is broken in both of them. The rooms are small, pocket door is very heavy for kids, and the shower only has one door, no curtains? ? The beds are okay, loves the balcony, always seeing cargo ships go by. The pool is cold, and the handle on the pool stairs is not sturdy. Nice beach area, just not what we expected. Way too expensive for this. Staff are nice, (somewhat) also the shower never gets that warm, and very little pressure. AC leaked water for some reason, however a better TV then most hotels I’ve been to. We loved the aircraft carrier, and I think it’s a destroyer beside it? Couldn’t get to go see inside in time, but beautiful either way. Both are just museums. They’re from WWII! If you do stay there, go check out the South Carolina Aquarium not far from there. Kinda expensive and the parking garage sucks, but it’s the best aquarium I’ve been to so far. Thats all for this review, sorry it’s so long.

The Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina is exceptional! We've stayed here occasionally while our home is being renovated and always recommend it to family and friends that are in the area visiting. It's close to many attractions, delicious southern fare dinging and shopping too!

Just got quoted $108 to tie my outboard boat up at the marina to have dinner at the Fish House. I asked for 90 mins, on K dock, from 6pm to 7.30pm. That's 90 minutes for 108 dollars, or $1.20 per MINUTE (not per foot). You've got to be kidding me.Guess I'll be getting gas somewhere else from now on, and won't be getting my clients to stay at the resort any more. We always used to have clients who were visiting us here in Charleston stay at the resort then we would come and join them for dinner at the Fish House or have drinks at the Reel Bar. Never again. This is daylight robbery and no way to treat anyone, never mind your locals. Shame.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our honeymoon! We loved the location as it was super close to downtown, the airport, and plenty of restaurants. We were so impressed with how kind all of the staff members were. There was live music Friday night and the hotel provided cookies! We also enjoyed the fresh coffee and lemonade that was available throughout the day. Our stay was a little chilly, but it was nice having a little beach and boat dock to walk around on. The resort also has amazing amenities including a shuttle, ferry ride, and bikes to use on the premises. The only negative to this resort is the rooms are small and when there is a large group in the hallways late at night you can hear everything. Our room was also very close to the elevator, so this could be different if your room is farther away in the hallways.
