They are deceptive in many ways and try to take advantage of inexperienced traders. They actually lied to me about financial planning. They act like they want to resolve the issues, but wont. Their reply to this review is a joke, they had no interest in resolving the issue. Their on-line rep could not even give me an answer to my account balance question.

I would not recommend them to anybody! If you pay attention they close all accounts that have an address in a low income community. You open the account and meet all requirements and then BOOM the fraud department made the choice to close it. My friend and I both applied 9she is white) hers let her in immediately mine did not. Her credit score could not even get a dog house approval and she did not have any issues. PAY ATTENTION!!!

If I could give them a negative star, I would. I have not been able to get into the account I have set up for 6 weeks for some unknown error, and not a single rep has been able to help me. I’m assuming it’s not their fault and the processes at Charles Schwab are just not at all client friendly. My entire savings is stuck in this account and they couldn’t even speak to me compassionately. Will be taking my account elsewhere as soon as possible. *to clarify this was over the phone not at the Charleston business and did not have to do with a financial advisor*

I made an appointment with RJ. I was interested in opening an account with Schwab. The only location is here in Mount P. I had stopped by one afternoon and quickly learned they are only taking appts for Schwab members. I then called in and left a message hoping someone would return my call. I spoke with RJ the next day who forwarded his email info to correspond with one another much quicker. We set an appt to meet in the office and I was all set. We met at 10am one morning and I was pleased with the way my appt went. RJ took me 15 mins before my appt time. We sat in the conference room and discussed different account options. The office was clean & cozy. The front desk staff member was kind and welcoming. The meeting ran about an hour long. He asked me if I had further questions and to email him with any other concerns I may have had. Overall, I was pleased with my visit to Schwab. RJ was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with everything.

Doesn’t offer any banking services like cashier checks, ect. Standing around not answering the phone. Don't drive here they can't help you.

I second WIlliam O'brian's review... I recently moved to Charleston from Maryland and the Schwab team there was excellent. David Aylor in the Mt. Pleasant office did not disappoint. He's extremely helpful and attentive. I would absolutely recommend meeting with him to discuss your financial needs.
