I was traveling from out of town and needed a daycare for my dog while I attended an event. Best Friend's Boarding met all of our expectations. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

My dogs have been boarded here for years and never had a problem. I used to deal with Bob but he doesn't seem to work there anymore. Staff is professional and helpful. Price is a pretty high with 2 dogs and week long trips but trust this place to take good care of them.

Blown away at how awesome Animal Medical Center is! Been living in Mount Pleasant for 11 years and have bounced around at different vets trying to find the PERFECT compassionate vet practice. Animal Medical Center is wonderful. The entire team truly cares. I have finally found who will be continuing to care for our crew of 5 rescues. Thank you Animal Medical Center!!

I've had my 7 month old lab puppy for almost 2 months. I'm waiting until he's a year old to make a decision on neutering and most daycares wouldn't accept him after 6 months with his parts intact. I usually take him with me to work but as I knew would happen I wasn't able to keep him all day and needed somebody to watch him. I was referred to Best Friends boarding by the last daycare that turned me away. I understand their concerns but was happy to receive the reference. Best Friends Daycare answered the phone promptly and I was able to drop my pup off during my lunch hour. The cost was way less than other daycares had quoted online and I got the peace of mind knowing he was being looked after and not at home wondering if I was ever coming back. I'm a softy and tried the petcam but after seeing and hearing what he does when I leave I just couldn't do it again Lol. So glad to have found this place. Lifesavers.

Started bringing my puppy here last week, and this past Wednesday was his last day coming, unless we have an emergency, due to irresponsibility in handling my belongings. Only take your pet here in harnesses, collars and leashes you don’t mind getting ruined. My expensive no pull 3 in 1 harness was snapped at a seam in the front and broken when I went to pick him up. Not to mention the girl who put it on him and brought him to me did not mention it WHATSOEVER, evidently thinking I would not notice or probably trying to avoid blame or conflict. When I brought it to everyone’s attention and asked if it was left on him all day, they replied no and that he must have gotten ahold of it and chewed it. Which begs the question - HOW? Either way, i know what a chewed through harness looks like, he has done it before once when we accidentally left it on him in his crate. He did not chew this harness. There were no chew marks, it was a clean break. Unfortunately this brings me to wonder if someone was too rough with my puppy in his harness or if they left it on him and he got caught in the fencing of the run. Please keep in mind this harness is only about 2 months old and in perfect condition - there is no reason for it to break from normal use. Who I assumed to be a leader/manager took the harness from me and told me they would replace it. Well I called today to see how that was going and was promptly told that they can’t replace it but they can refund me for how much the harness costs. Now I’m questioning why they took it if they can’t replace it AND why they have been open for 5 hrs and no one has called to talk to me about this. Why did I have to call to learn this information? I am very disappointed in this facility. Being that they are a part of my vets office, I thought better care would be taken of my belongings and my animal. He seems to have a great time while he is here and he seems to love the staff, but this incident and the way it has been handled has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope this has been a learning experience for everyone there to be more responsible and attentive.
