I shop at this store a lot and the employees are always nice and helpful. The manager is exceptional. No matter what day you visit someone is going to greet you, help you find what you need, whatever you want. I love the store and it's crew! Kudos to the manager for having such a great group. What's even more special about this store, every year I volunteer for a charity event. The employees of this store donate items and put them all together in a gift basket for our auction . The company doesn't do it, the employees do. They are amazing!

It was a very bad experience about a discount they sent to my card and in the store no matter I showed the email received from BBW and they didn't do anything they just wrote in my receipt

I had the WORST and most UNCOMFORTABLE experience on June 13th 2023 at the Mount Pleasant Bath & Body Works in Town Center. If I could give 0 stars I promise you I would. My advice is if you are African American or the like, please don't shop here. I truly hate to be that person to call out racism or racist behavior but this really needs to be addressed by corporate. If this isn't racist behavior, then what do you call it and how do you respond in a situation like this? I have seen this behavior before but never at any Bath & Body Works retailer.I literally watched every associate in this store treat us differently from the white family with 2 kids, 1 woman who was shopping alone and 2 younger girls that were shopping together. All were Caucasian except us.This was my experience and observation in detail:We had just shopped at the Ulta right next door and had a pretty good experience. Upon entering B&BW with my teenage daughter there were two women standing around looking at us as we approached the store. Not one of them said hello or told us about the sale they were having. Instead, they just watched us.I would have thought this was a coincidence until another associate on the floor just walked right past us as we were smelling the different products.I had questions about the sale and I was looking for a particular fragrance. Two of the women on the floor were in a conversation, so I stood there patiently waiting until they were done. We waited for about maybe 30 seconds or so smiling waiting to be acknowledged. It was as if I was invisible. I ended up just walking away.I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life at this retailer until then and I've been a consumer for over 25 years. All 3 associates on the floor were horrible with customer service including the cashier. acted the same way.. Too busy to greet us, too busy to give eye contact, too busy to simply acknowledge my daughter and I standing 15 inches beside them. I promise I have NEVER seen anything.Each time, the white consumers where greeted at minimum with a "hello, welcome to B&BW" and were given the details of the sale. The younger girls had questions and were immediately helped. Were they too busy to acknowledge and help us. Sadly, I still ended up purchasing items for my 16 year old daughter. I can tell you that this experience had her asking me a lot of questions and feeling pretty awful. Looking back, I wish I had gone to a different store or not even supported this retailer at all.The consumers (including the African Americans) pay your salaries. The least you can do is treat us the same with dignity. Seeing that there are other reviews on this site pointing out racism and racist behavior, I am surprised that the associates are still acting this way. This just tells me that these issues are not being addressed, which is very disappointing. My hope is that leadership that extends all the way up to Gina Boswell will take some kind of action on a corporate level.

i've always love bath and body works. i love their scents, and the service has always been amazing!! especially at this specific one, the service has always been absolutely amazing and all of the associates have always been so respectful and helpful. the past few times i have been absolutely appalled by the service and how rude associates have been about little things. a certain worker named Lisa has not only accused of us stealing, and giving us rude looks and followed us around the store, and after informing us not to use bottles that aren't for trying out a scent bottle continuously yelled at us. she made the people i was with and i want to leave the store immediately, and not buy anything. i love bath and body works. but i'm not going to go into a store where i'm being followed and accused of stealing. it's rude, and very disrespectful. i would rather pay an extra dollar or two for a candle or perfume at any other store then go in there.

Bath and Body used to be a fav. Unfortunate with the high prices and coupons no more, it is no longer worth it. Anytime you walk on the store your internet turns off so how do you use your app coupons? And even if you log in to their guest internet it still doesn't work. They make it difficult to use coupons these days, likely on purpose, and cannot see coupons in their system. Bummer. Love the products but miss the old days of good coupons and better prices. Much easier to hit up TJ Maxx and get candles that smell just as delicious and soaps that are half the price and twice as big.

In my opinion, nasty, unprofessional, unkind associates on every level. It amazes me that associates of such places and any other place that is dependent upon a consumer in order to make revenue in order to survive does not understand the basics: THE CONSUMER IS THE PERSON THAT AFFORDS YOU A JOB!!!!!Therefore, there is NO room for nastiness, unkindness, unprofessionalism, perceived racism, judgement, negative energy, etc.In my opinion, it amazes me that the personnel at the Mount Pleasant B and B does not have the basic fundamentals of knowing how to treat people regardless of their race.I will leave you with this: No ruler reigns forever. There are many, many, many companies that once thought that they would NEVER go out of business. Continue to operate neglectfully and I will sit and wait to see just how everything works out for you guys when it comes to reaping what you have sown.

Bath & Body Works at Mount Pleasant Towne Center in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for all things bath and body. I really like the location and the selection of different items here. I really like the smell of the store. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need.
