Came here for my last oil change, and they told me that I had a nail in my tire that needed to be replaced because they were unable to patch it due to the location of the nail. Took it somewhere else to get looked at and they were able to patch it with no problem. It’s been several months since then and I’ve had no issues. Would’ve just paid them to replace the tire at that point unnecessarily. Needed my oil changed again as well as transmission fluid flushed so decided to give them a second chance. Took it back today and they said it would be $100 more than what they quoted last time “because my car takes longer” even though they knew my exact model when they gave me the estimate. This was half the reason I went back there today, and it seems like all they care about is money. Very disappointed.

On 12/13/2023 I had an appointment at 11:30am for an oil change and tire rotation. I had a $69 coupon that included paying for both services excluding tax. After paying the bill, I realized there was an over charge of $8.50 for parts. When I asked about this charge Cory said they should not have charged the $8.5 and on my next visit they will credit my bill. I asked him to simply credit the $8.50 back to my credit card. With some initial resistance he agreed to do so. 3 weeks later I called AAA to inform them the $8.50 was never refunded to my credit card. Carter said it wasn't refunded and I needed to talk with Greg or Cory. After on hold Carter said they would refund the $8.50 to my credit card. 3 weeks later still no refund as of 1/30/2024. Something is wrong with this AAA CAR Care Shop. This was my 2nd oil change with this Shop. They have lost my business over an $8.50 over charge. I cannot trust a business that I believe overcharged the bill on purpose and then lied about refunding the amount twice. I didn't get the small $8.50 refund but they lost my future business and other business from friends and family I may tell when asked about the service of this AAA CAR CARE SHOP.

This location went above and beyond for me, I requested a AAA jump for my battery this morning and they came out within 15mins. I brought my car here because 2 other places refused to change my battery due to having to remove a part to replace the old one. Greg Sibert was so helpful on the phone and told me they would get it done for me. I didn't have my membership card on me and William Mitchell jr. was able to look it up for me. Even though they were incredibly busy I was in and out quickly. Thank you Greg and William for exceptional service! Truly a great experience, I will continue to be a AAA member and come to this location for service.

The AAA Mount Pleasant SC Auto Care shop features some top notch auto technicians/mechanics. They have been able to solve various problems on all of my automobiles. I recommend them to everyone. The AAA member discount on parts and repairs is very helpful in keeping costs down.
