This place runs like a well-oiled machine, And that's what I told them. Dr Trotter is wonderful. He explains everything down to a bit of information lol. The staff is extra wonderful, friendly, nice eager to help.

Nothing but the best people working here. They are very compassionate about people and their pets. Very understanding and knowledgeable. The doctors are experienced and take the time to answer any questions you might have. They also have regular vet schedules so better believe we bring all 500 of pets here (wife said I might be exaggerating ?)

My eight year old lab was recently diagnosed with cancer of the spleen. His ruptured tumor was removed at Lakeside with no issues. I chose to continue Henry's care which started with chemotherapy at Lakeside. I was told numerous times by the vets at Lakeside that the chemotherapy was expensive because I was paying for a tech to sit next to Henry to make sure the chemo didn't leak into the vein while being given. Needless to say over 20 cc of chemo leaked outside the vein into Henry's leg before anyone paid any attention.
The day of this incident, I rushed Henry to another veterinary office in West Ashley. Henry spent three days at this clinic and Dr Jones did pay for the care Henry received there.
I chose to put Henry to sleep this morning. It was the most humane thing to do. He simply could not overcome the chemo malfunction and the subsequent complications from it.
I would caution anyone whose pet needs chemo before you take them to Lakeside for treatment.

Don't call as a a new client, they don't except new clients. That's all good but when you call to speak with someone and get a recorded message to leave your information? I think, we are not accepting new clients should be at the top. Instead of waiting on a phone call from an establishment that you had several people refer you to.. Btw, my pups in real caring hands..thanks and have a wonderful day

They helped me in my time of sorrow when I had to put my 18 year old cat to sleep. I was devastated. I got to hold him through the process, and they let me have the room to mourn afterward.

I loved this place and i am thankful for what they have done for my pup but chealsea has totally ruined that very rude over the phone and from what she said does not comprehend how banks and checks work and I was told to call my bank because they didn't charge my bank my bank charged my bank as she kept saying they only charged it once so called my bank for them to tell me yes lakeside has tried 5 separate times I had asked to be called before the checks were cashed and I was just trying to ask yall to hold off please till next wensday
