This place is a complete scam. There’s no such thing as a place called “oyo” hotel in mauldin now it is now a deluxe inn and when we try and get a refund they tell me that I never booked with them and that my booking ID does not exist I wouldn’t suggest this place y’all will be hearing from my lawyer

Well my room key doesn't open the door. For our first hour is like they were setting up a circus right in front of our window. People gathered around and making all kinds of nose right in front of our room. Someone kept sticking their key in my door. My key won't work and I told them at the desk I wanted to leave and I needed a new key they said they would be here to let me in. I left and came back..... Locked out of the room. There's a strange guy either a secret agent or pedaphile. Posted up directly across from my window on his lap top like he's filming me. They sent a guy to install a tv and he didn't know how to do it. Then left without giving us a cord to the tv.

I will never go BACK! Pay all that money for low budget room you don't get refund back. TV don't work, ONLY 1 channel maybe 2 if you get lucky. It's okay staying for a day if you can't find a hotel. Low budget in the ghetto haha

Found actual crack pipes hidden in the room's air conditioner vent. Watched crackheads argue and threaten each other in the parking lot. People standing around outside drinking. Scary place. Avoid it if you like living.

Terrible. I arrived and the place was deserted. OYO then placed me in some other hotel w/o my permission. They wasted over an hour of my time.That's twice I have tried them and both times they have tried to scam me. Stay away from all OYO Hotels.

Booked a room using oyo booking site to get to the location to wait on the manager for an hour after calling several times to the hotels number to no answer...was told upon his arrival that they had no vacancies got the run-around by the supposed owner who yawned in my ear while telling me I had to get my refund or room through the oyo booking site.in which it has been 2 full days and they're refunds claim department says it will be possible 48 more hours.... this place is a scam beware.and on top of that I ended up calling the mauldin,sc police for my options since I had no where else to stay with my dog and belongings in the car

So far, they are batting 1000 for providing the worst service of any OYO I have ever stayed at. The television does not work, although maintenance, management, and the owner told me it would be fixed ASAP. More than 24 hours later, the TV is still out. After going out for errands, I returned to find the bathroom sink filled with yellow water that will not drain. Again, I told both maintenance and management, and NO ONE bothered to even come to look at it. So now I do not have a sink to use to wash my hands, I have no television, and despite their incredibly courteous outlooks, neither maintenance, management, or the owner seemed to be willing to address any of these problems. I have stayed at various OYO throughout the South when I travel for work and graduate research, but this one is by far the saddest excuse for a motel of any type. After I checked myself in, I realized there were only lights in the bathroom. There were not bulbs in the three fixtures in the main room so I had to buy bulbs to see. My neighbors asked to move rooms because they had "serious plumbing issues." It was booked through hotwire and is nonrefundable. Since I have no other recourse to have the basic services I have already paid for, it seems calling the County zoning commission and the South Carolina Consumer Affairs Commission is next on my list of things to do.Update: No One has fixed the television and the sink finally drained empty, but only after 16 hours. Then it started filling up again with yellow liquid that does not smell unlike urine. The MOD said he was going to get the remote for my TV last night and then never returned. FRI-Sunday without the use of a television, Saturday and Sunday without the use of a Sink.And customer service 101 states the first think one does is apologize. That also hasn't happened. Wow!

worst experience ever. the pictures on the website are not what you show up to. no oyo hotel signage. When i arrived i waited outside with another man who still hasnt even been checked in. no one was in the office and it looked abandoned and there was a no vacancy sign. we both tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. i emailed and called customer service and they are denying a refund because it says i never showed up. EXTREMELY dissatisfied i couldn't even imagine how much worst it would have been if we actually stayed there

Called 15 minutes ahead to book a room, waiting an hour for someone to show up to check me in! Tried to call the number back and got hung up on every single time. Never even got to get a hotel room, so when someone FINALLY answered the phone, they asked for my booking number and it didn't even exist anymore. Out of nowhere. Worst experience I've had in my life. Everywhere else was fool and I ended up having to sleep in my car.

The room was really nice overall. The shower/tub was a bit small. The biggest issue I had was the thin curtain that let in too much of the parking area light which made it difficult to sleep.

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and arrived the night of my reservation. There was a sign that said NO VACANCY. The clerk came out of the closed office to take a pizza delivery and told me that they were overbooked by the online booking site and had no rooms. I called Hotels.com to cancel the room (this is another whole story) and was told the hotel would not cancel, and I would be charged. They charged me for the room as a No-Show even though I was there, and they told me that they had no rooms available. I am not happy with the service I received from Oyo corporate either. Luckily, I have a good credit card who sent them a Cease and Desist letter regarding charging me for the services I did not receive.

Made reservation on line. New Owner opened before Hotel was finished with repairs. No concessions, no electrical outlet to plug in refrigerator or microwave. No ice. No coffee. Clean room with nice comfortable mattresses. Clean towels & toiletries were provided. Did have a smart TV so we were able to access streaming service. Recommend skipping this Hotel drive the distance to Baymont Inn & Suites in Greenville. Much better accomodations for the price. $60 too high for the accomodations plus a $50 deposit. No deposit at Baymont.
