My husband and I are currently going through IVF and through the IVF process you have to take birth control when they tell you. It is at different times during the process. Because of this, it’s a time sensitive. We rushed to the pharmacy today realizing it was almost closed but made it there 6 minutes before they closed. I completely understand they were about to close, but we asked them nicely if they could fill my birth control and that we would be a day behind if we didn’t and they said they were closing at 6 and would not fill it. My wife explained that she used to be a pharmacy technician at CVS and knows that it is a packet that they take off the shelf, print a label for, let the pharmacist check and then check us out. In the time the technician spent arguing with us saying she would not fill it, she could have filled it and had it to us before the store closed. She tried to blame us and say we didn’t pick it up within our 14 days and that’s why it wasn’t ready. We never asked for it to be on automated refill. CVS chose to do that when we asked them not to because that is not what we are using it for. We don’t need it every month, which is why it wasn’t picked up. We didn’t know when we’d need it again. She refused to fill it and the store was still OPEN. As a previous pharmacy technician for CVS, I know this is not how CVS operates and if it is now, that is a shame and unfortunate. We did not ask for them to fill 10 prescriptions they had to count out and stay past 6:00. We asked them to fill something that was in a packet and already counted. Instead of doing her job, she spent it arguing with us when the pharmacy was still open. Completely unacceptable and disappointing. Not only did she not fill it, she closed the window in our face. I am completely shocked, and disappointed that this even happened. This is not the first incident we’ve had here but this was my final straw. The fact that she spent those 6 minutes refusing to fill it because they were “about to close” instead of just filling it while the store was still open, in mind blowing. After I told her I knew it didn’t take long to fill, she said she couldn’t fill any prescriptions 10 minutes before those store closes. If that’s the case, they should close at 5:50, not 6:00. I worked there and if there was someone in the drive through, you filled those prescriptions until the last person was done whether or not it was closing time or not. Either way, we were there before the pharmacy even closed. Unacceptable.

Please post lunch times for the pharmacy for those of us who haven't lived here forever, don't routinely shop at CVS. And.... please don't tell customers, "we've been doing this for several years". A simple sign posted with pharmacy lunch hours is really all that is needed.

I have never had a problem with anyone in the pharmacy. They always keep up with our meds and show kindness if we need help. No one is perfect. Tolerance for each other helps. Kindness shown is kindness received. Thank you

I was having trouble at the self checkout and before I could say one word the manager stepped up and helped me. He didn’t make me feel embarrassed about my situation. I left with a positive smile.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for 18 years and i’ve never really had a problem until now. I go to pick up my prescription and the lady tells me that they don’t even have the medication in stock. This is the second time this has happened. But I’ve noticed that this pharmacy doesn’t notify me anymore when my prescription is ready. I needed this medication today for my doctors appointment tomorrow. She tells me the closest stores that have it and I ended up in Boiling Springs just to get my medicine. This is ridiculous. This CVS needs to do better.
