Wateree Plaza, Lugoff“One thing I love about South Carolina is that they have the exact same establishment as they do in Florida. I came up here holding 3 different dividend checks that I had gotten before I left in the midst of hurricane Irma and I figured it was time to deposit them while I was here. Wells Fargo was so conveniently located. When the woman in the drive-through saw where my deposit slip was from she told me that she was praying for us and that she hoped I was well and safe. You don't get treated like that in Florida. It's so nice to be back in this beautiful historical town. They fought the Civil War here. I hate to return to reality but I'm going to have to sooner or later it's gonna be sad when I have to leave this town. I love it so much”

“Long time no see Food Lion! Havent shopped here since 1990. I've missed this grocery store. Yes, it's a normal market kinda like a Winn Dixie but the prices are a lot less than in that state that Irma ruined! So glad I came back to my old college town to be safe. I stocked the mini fridge with fruits and got stuff for the animals as we are staying in south carolina for another week..or as long as it takes for them to clean up the devastation Irma created. I'm sure I will be back. The woman in the deli who has a brother in florida was so nice to me and the girl in line in front of me took my groceries out of my cart for me when she heard I came to south carolina to escape Irma. Nothing like good ole southern hospitality! Sure beats any place I've ever lived.. Wait..i did live here..and sometimes i missed it..for now I'm back home in the state i loved many years ago. And shopping Is a pleasure!”
