Always closed for some reason or another. Today is VALENTINES DAY, and they decided to close for "inventory ", I'm not much of a business woman but I would think today would be a busy day for them and they decide to close the entire day for something that could be done in the evening hours or another day altogether period every time. Eveeytime I go to this Dollar General it's closed for some reason, today out of all days of the year they decided to close for inventory. Do better

I just wanted to share how nice the people at the Dollar General store 17362 on Hwy 90 in Little River, SC are.My friend lost his wallet and thought he had lost it there. He went back to the store, and Beverly and Drew were great. Beverly looked up the video to see if he maybe dropped his wallet in the store. Unfortunately, he didn't, but Beverly went above and beyond helping him by going to his car with him to search in case it fell in the car. My friend did find his wallet elsewhere, but I thought these good people should be acknowledged for being so kind and going above and beyond to help someone. It made my friend feel better in the state of panic. Thank you, Beverly and Drew.

If you’re going to close your establishment at 9p instead of 10p, Correct your store hours online. This is a very basic principle of business.

All of the dollar generals near me, all need more workers. I feel so bad for the employees. They're all so busy and short staffed and the stores all look awful!! Dirty, shelves are empty or unorganized and the aisles are full with boxes that need unpacked

This post is not a bad review of the actual store itself but rather a post about one of the most condescending, sarcastic and rudest people I have ever met in my life. Her name is Joanne and she was working at this location on the afternoon of Friday May 14th. This all happened in front of my 4 year old daughter and that is the main reason it upset me. A gentleman in the store that heard this person talk to me and my daughter felt so bad for us he bought my daughter’s candy. But most importantly there was absolutely no reason for this person to be so rude.Ms. Joann was on the 2nd register checking out customers who were paying with cash. My daughter wanted a very specific type of candy but we were not sure if they had it at this store. We waited to get upfront and I stepped out of the way to allow a man to go in front of us. Ms. Joann asked if I was paying with cash and I replied with my mask on “I’m sorry my daughter is looking for a special candy and I’m not sure where it is. Someone else can go ahead and check out while we look for it.” Ms. Joann looked at me and my daughter rolled her eyes and said in a very condescending tone of voice “I have no idea what you just said, but whatever.” I pulled my mask off my lip a little and repeated the exact same phrase as above but a little louder so she could hear us. Again, while all if this is going on we(my daughter and I) are out of line, out of everyone’s way. Ms. Joann looked as us again, rolled her eyes and said in that same condescending and annoyed tone of voice “well maybe I could have helped you but, whatever”. Before I could even say anything again she continued yelling at everyone in the store “Is anyone paying with cash”. My daughter looked at me so confused as to why this old woman was being so rude. I led my daughter away from that area and back to the other candy section in the store to continue looking for her candy. When she asked why that lady was so mean I said “some people are just like that”. We could not find her candy so we went back up front to pay for my chapstick. The man in front of us(a random stranger we had never met before) apologized for Joann’s behavior and asked us what candy she wanted. My daughter described it to his son( around 8 years old) and he( the son) found it at other register and bought it for her. I paid for my chapstick and asked the other cashier what the rude lady’s name is. She said “Joanne”. I walked out of the store and said to Joanne “thank you Joanne, you were most helpful.”I work customer service in the tourism industry and I know all about being frustrated with the general public. We all have lives. We all have stress. We are all concerned with what is going on everywhere. But Ms. Joanne if your mindset is so disgruntled that you bark at and become that annoyed with a young child looking at candy, you need to check yourself. There is simply no point in that kind of behavior. You acted like a horrid human being. I hope the rest of your day was great!

My recent visit here will have me going to the one on 17 now. I don't know what the managers problem is but she is rude and says things in front of customers that should not be heard by us. She said some pretty belittling things to a store employee while he was checking us out. She was constantly remarking about people wasting her time. Argued with me about a coupon acting like i couldn't read. If it weren't for me proving her wrong about said coupon i could of walked out of there without even paying for this item the coupon was for, because the cashier accidentally forgot to scan it. This lady acted a straight fool. Lets not even get into the fact that since she became manager there,the store has spiraled downhill
