I got several repairs done. Kept leaving nuts, screws off after repairing. Had a solenoid replacement that did not work when I tried it. I had to replace it myself. Was rude when I called about this.

Had the switches that lower and raise the prop repaired. First time using after repair prop lowered and did not raise. Owner said it wasn’t his fault and was incredibly rude and insulting. I had to frantically search you tube videos to figure out how to get the prop up so I could move the boat. I now have to either repair myself or pay someone else to do the repair I’ve already paid for. Do not recommend this business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Can’t say enough about Andrew & Mike, these guys know their stuff! Looked up top rated mechanics in the area on Google. Thought I would give them a shot. Glad I did! Gave him a call on Saturday took the boat to him on Monday. After Andrew cleaned the carb he got it running and found a ticking after Mike did some reconfiguring on the valves I got my boat back and it sounds better than when I bought it! Highly recommend if you are looking for a boat guy to give these guys a call!Services: Valve adjustment

I saw the great reviews on the web and decided t give Andrew a shot. I asked for an appointment through his site on Saturday and he called ,personally, Sunday and set a date and time. I was sold on him after talking on the phone and when he showed up on time, I was very pleased. He had the boat diagnosed and running in less than an hour. I had been with a "tow it in and we'll get it soon" repair shop and always waited 4 weeks or more. Andrew is now my go to mechanic; Southern Shores is the way to go.Service: Engine repair

He is awesome , after owning my boat for 5 years and doing nothing to it, he stepped in and up to the job and has my baby running again. He is very knowledgeable and how to overcome a very difficult issue without me having to sell my children to get it fixed!

It’s been difficult over the years to find mechanics for boat, car, motorcycles, etc. repair.
I fortunate to find Andrew with Southern Shores boat repair this year. I could say many nice things about Andrew, but he is a trustworthy, knowledgeable, dependable and professional mechanic I’ve ever used for repair work. His pricing is excellent to the point I added several hundred more dollars to pay this hardworking young man what he deserved. Finally - I found a guy with character in performing his job.

The owner, Andrew, is an exceptional person and so is his technician Michael. He's patient. He answers text messages which is an appreciated courtesy. He educates you on whats needed and is not annoyed with the boat beginner. I hope to always use this company.

Andrew is a Great resource for all your boat repairs, whether you have an outboard , inboard or other motor types. He responds to your calls in a very timely manner. ?His service and prices are Very fair and he can come to you (as in our case, since we didn't have a trailer) or for major work has a full service shop between Chapin and Little Mountain. I highly recommend he and his service for all your repair/cleanup needs!
