WOW I didn't know Walmart hire gang members who commit violence & sell drugs! I was blown away when I walked into the store! PTSD & ANXIETY hit me instantly because my eyes locked with the wolf in sheep clothing & a Walmart uniform. Good you all give tests to get hired , BUT invest in better background checks to see who the wolves you hire, are affiliated with. THIS HELPS YOU ALL HIRE GOOD PEOPLE, WITH GOOD ETHICS AND MORALS! !! FOCUS LESS ON TESTS!!! LET'S PROTECT & SAVE COMMUNITIES & FAMILIES PLEASE!

The lady at register one on 07/12/24 was working as hard as she could moving her little arms as fast as should could and some older lady went the manager and told her one of these other people just sitting around needed to go open a line for others who don’t or can’t ect use the self checkout and help others but when the older lady got in line she was telling us about what happened and the checkout lady said she needed to get a management position there and crack her whip jokingly and it was obvious the manager came over and got ugly and all up in the cashiers face, they need to be punished and written up or fired that was very disrespectful and not only to her but she did it in front of everyone, the lady said she has been the only lane open for several weeks in a row, she’s had to hold her pee for hours on end because no one will step in for a second or help her she honestly deserves a raise and to be treated with more respect

They've turned all their self check-outs into either 15 items or less or the scan and go that can't be used without paying for a membership. The store only has 5 regular registers, and everything else is self check-out. At 8 in the morning, I had to stand in the only open manned check out line, and took twice as long as it would have if I could have gone through the self checkout. The store should gut the self checkouts down to a handful and return to having most of the registers being manned registers and actually open them. Making it more inconvenient to check-out will drive more customers away then bring them in.

I usually shop at Walmart and go through the self checkout. But that may come to an end soon. They are turning the self checkouts in to a scan and go. I refuse to pay for a membership! With the cost of everything so high, I’m not paying for another membership. Just ridiculous!!! I may be switching to Aldi and food lion as my first choices.

You can expect to wait up to 45 minutes or longer to check out if this location is busy.
Walmart is currently so obsessed with the idea that you might be stealing from them that this store, at least, has intentionally crippled their self checkout system. Expect about 2/3 of the stations to be locked at any given time.
To my knowledge, this location isn't opening additional staffed lanes to compensate for the newfound lack of trust in the average shopper.

I like this location alot. But today I needed to grab 2 things. That's it, it would have taken me less than 5 minutes. However, even though this place closes at 11, I guess laziness has reached an all time high because they decided to close 10 minutes early. Pisses me off.

Today at SouthLake Walmart. No registers open. Most of self check not working. People lined up on both sides of the store. Can't believe as much money I spend there that you can't afford to have good check out. Was like this on Sat also. Hire people and open your registers!!

I couldn't write a review without choosing a star, but really, they deserve none. Order online for a pickup. Got a text my order was ready. Showed up and checked in on the app. Finally got my order an hour and a half later. If they had decent management, maybe the store wouldn't suck so bad.
