Have a 2006 Ford Explorer in very good shape but encountered problems with the PCM and Jim Hudson Ford declined to even look at the car. The service manager stated that the car was too old for them to work on. Had to go to Classic Ford to get service with no problem. I have 3 Ford products currently, with the newest one purchased from Hudson, but will not be buying there in the future.

Ordered a Ford Maverick Hybrid in Nov 2021 and put down a 500 deposit to secure it. I checked on status of truck in Nov. 2022-1 year later- and found out they canceled my order without telling me. I waited 1 year!!!! They didn't even call to tell me to pick up my deposit. Horrible service from Ford. Do not go to Jim Hudson Ford in Lexington, SC.

Made an appointment online for a "10,000mi service" (oil change and tire rotation). Arrived 15min ahead of schedule. Service rep couldn't understand that I wanted a 10Kmi service "We don't sell that" - proceeded to show him on their website where they do and had a screenshot of my online order. Ten minutes of fumbling with the computer and all he could enter was the oil change and that it would be a 3hr or more wait. I asked about my appointment time - he said that the time was "like a restaurant reservation" and that I should expect to wait. When I inquired about how to get an oil change and service at the time requested, he suggested not there. Fair enough - nine Fords and on my third King Ranch, no more of that business goes to Jim Hudson.

So disappointed, when you buy a car from a dealer, you buy it in good faith. Today I was informed I would have to pay for the engine to be put in the BMW328i I purchased from Jim Hudson in Lexington. I have made 5 payments and insurance on a car I couldn't even drive. If I had 8+K dollars I would have bought a new car. It's either pay for the repair or trade it in. That will make me dishonest,knowing this car is messed up. It's not right, I don't have fraudulent intentions which is probably why I didn't choose sales as an occupation. As a veteran, educator, and Godly person I conduct myself to help people before I help myself. I don't do people like this and never will.. truly devastated..smh

This was as simple as it could have been. Chris was the service advisor. He was courteous and pleasant. Service was quick, efficient and at a decent price.

Jeremain Williams from Jim Hudson Ford is Amazing. He got me the car I've only talked about but never pursued. Being a long time customer of mine I told him what I was looking for. He sent me a pic of the car when he got it and told me he would get me in it. He did just that and more. He made me comfortable and went thru the whole process making the experience painless. The rest of the staff I interacted with was also great. I said the last major car purchase since I am now retired would be a car I want. Thanks to Mr. Williams I got exactly that. St Elmo's Fire will be one of my most prized possession and I recommend you go see Mr. Williams when your ready for your next car.

Worst car buying experience I have ever witnessed. Everything past the salesman was horrible. Will not negotiate pricing, added pricing to sticker for over $2000 for wax and car tire air plus other useless add ons. Buy from another Ford dealer

Test drove a Ford Explorer and things went pretty smooth but wanted to look at few other vehicles before making a decision. Contacted our sales rep over text to say we were interested the following Friday. We received a quote for list price plus all of the add ons for car wax, air in the tires and various other items to the tune of $2000 plus. Went to the dealer on Friday night to get the deal a little closer but management would not negotiate. Salesman reached out the following day and we worked out a deal that was acceptable and we setup an appointment for Monday. In the mean time, the dealership sold the vehicle. Salesman reached out Monday morning to inform me the vehicle was sold and we could order another one. I am of the opinion that the sale was complete over text and the next customer should have been offered the order option. Either way Jim Hudson did not earn my business. Buyers beware. I got a better deal elsewhere without all of the dealer add ons....did not get drug out over days and only took a few minutes. Management at this location will lead you into the worst car buying experience....

Don’t buy parts from them. I paid for overnight shipping a week ago and still has not shipped yet. They stopped emailing me too. Rock auto delivered in 3 days regular shipping.

We bought a new 2021 Ford Escape from Jim Hudson Ford this morning. Salesman George Lutz was able to find us the perfect new car; Floor Manager Ronnie Tyler worked with us to make it affordable; and Business Manager Tony Dooley worked wonders with the financing and warranties. The entire team did everything they could to ensure a positive experience. We strongly recommend this dealership because of their willingness to listen to us and do their best to meet/exceed our expectations.

I found a car online via CarFax and contacted the dealership. Craig was very helpful and very kind. My husband and I are young and we appreciate him taking us seriously and helping us. When we arrived, George assisted us in the car buying process. George was nice, informative and friendly. Ronnie, the manager, was a very nice man and made us feel comfortable instead of nervous. And lastly the gentleman in finance, Tony, helped lay out the prices and warranties in an easy-to-understand manner. We truly appreciate each of them!! My car had a headlight bulb go out upon purchase, and it also needed an alignment, which was done the very next day in a timely manner. We highly recommend JH Ford in Lexington, SC!!!!

They offered to sell me 3 Ford Broncos in October 2021. I signed purchase orders & paid deposits on all 3 vehicles. I was told I would receive the vehicles in December 2021. When I called for an update in December, I was told that they decided to cancel my orders because they can sell the vehicles to someone else for more money!!!!! Very dishonest. No integrity what so ever.

If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. I am completely astounded with the manner of professionalism they uphold. I have now had a vehicle sitting in the parking lot of the service department for over two months. The only time I can get an information regarding progress is if I reach out first multiple times. Not only that, my vehicle is still under warranty with 25k miles and I have had no help with trying to obtain a loaner vehicle to take me to and from work. As of today, 2 months later, I was told to move the vehicle to another dealership and that they “were not going to work on it”. I would never recommend Jim Hudson Ford to anyone for any service or mechanical repairs.

I bought my 2021 ford ranger on November 30. Drove for two days, then got a call from the sales manager and was informed that the truck was under a recall and should not have been sold to me. I will have the sales rescinded and cancel my insurance and my down payment refunded. Very disappointed.
