This place is great! I felt very welcome. It's hard to find good people these days and I was very happy with the services they provided they were very upfront and honest :) and they have a shop kitten named spark plug who kept me company while my car was being worked on

They replaced my alternator, the alternator belt, changed my oil and the tension thing for my belt. My car's back on the road and seems to be doing very well. They also put in a transmission in my friend's car and she too is very pleased. That's why she sent me to them to work on my car.

I highly recommend Mike and his team at Palmetto State Auto. They came recommend via Facebook and are one of two places in Lexington that work on Volkswagens. Everyone has been extended friendly and easy to work with. The communication was outstanding. I will forever take my vehicle to Mike and his team!!

Highly recommended!! New to the area and I was referred to these great gentlemen from the car dealership that I purchased my vehicle from. They called me back ASAP with a vehicle diagnostic and the repair was done before the close of business!! My car runs so much smoother!!! The cost was very fair!!! I am one happy customer!! ?

I was referred to Palmetto actually by another local shop who was honest enough to tell me that they could not figure out the Gremlins ruling my electrical system in my car. As a women I am very skeptical about mechanic shops. From the time I got in the door Mike, the owner was super cool, and made me feel comfortable. The customer area was super clean, and they even gave me a ride home in their shuttle. I felt very good about their approach to customer service. They had my car for 2 days, and discovered all that was wrong was a "loose ground wire" in the dash. My car was fixed for under a hundred dollars, and no more light blinking for the first time in over a year. I was prepared to pay hundreds of dollars simply due to the last shop charging me around $350 for what they said was electrical diagnostic and three weeks of having my car to no avail. But Palmetto was very fair, and reasonable. Thank you for the outstanding service from start to finish. I will definitely be back, but hopefully for just basic maintenance. Thought my 2003 tracker was done for and not worth the money that may have been required to fix . This place had it fixed in a day for a great price . I am so very thankful !!
