A friend of mine was bitten by a copperhead. After leaving the hospital on a Sunday evening, we quickly realized all of the pharmacies were closed. I called the hospital and asked where to get his perscription filled and they recommended CVS at 5608 Sunset Blvd. And they were able to help us out. A special thanks to Dustin, he is a real professional and a Yah-some fellow.

I just received the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever received in my life from this pharmacy. The night Pharmacist Johnathan Made, was condescending, curt, and apathetic. He had absolutely no compassion and treated me like I was a drug addict! I don’t even have a controlled prescription! He was inflexible and was unwilling to sell me my NON CONTROLLED PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION for a cash price. I am a pharmacy technician myself and have worked for CVS, so I KNOW that claims can be reversed, and he was unwilling to do so! He gave me a 1 day supply when he initially said he would give me a 3 day supply and did so as if I should’ve been grateful to have that when I am an insured paying customer. I have never been so offended or insulted in my life. And I absolutely will be reporting him to the board of pharmaceutical ethics in my state.

my husband went there after being told he had the flu and Covid, and was given a hour wait time at 10:30 at night. I have never had this problem ANYWHERE else. He was then told that he would have to have a pre-authorization for a medication that I know for a fact you do not need pre-authorization for.. not only that there was not a pharmacist on duty only two techs the one I believe my husband dealt with was Devon, my husband asked if he could pay out-of-pocket for the pre-authorization medication. He was told to calm down he's not in a restaurant, and that he needed to take his prescriptions and leave. in which he went directly down the street to Walgreens, where there were no pre-authorizations this medication was an narcotic cough medication. My husband is covered in tattoos all the way down to his hands, he has a long beard and I'm sure at the moment looked very sick, but judging him and thinking that the only thing he was, there was the narcotic was where they went wrong. My husband has a bachelors in business and only takes medication like that when it is absolutely necessary. He is also a veteran. I am going to do what it takes for that pharmacist to lose their job. I don't care who you are. You have no right to judge someone based on what they look like and keep medication from them illegally I might add. so I will also be calling corporate in the morning and making sure that they deal with this pharmacist directly. Can you imagine if that was a veteran going through something else and just decided to end it that night, how would that way on your conscience Devon?

If the drive-thru isn't picking up and going, the staff needs to have customers come in the store. No reason to be inline for over 10 minutes.

I've been on hold for 45 minutes. This is absolutely ridiculous. Not everything can be handled on the app. How can you ignore a phone call for such a long time? If I could take care of the issue on the app, I would. Answer the damn phone.

The pharmacist needs a massive attitude adjustment!! How does he have the right to take a script away from a patient that a doctor wrote is beyond me! His job is filling the med. That's it! I want a call from someone above him at this location. Tried calling a cooperate number, but got nowhere. If someone knows how to file a complaint, please ? let me know

Arrived to pick up my daughter’s antibiotic and was turned away at the pharmacy. An employee (presumably a pharmacy technician) stated their last customer was in line and that they were closing for the day (at 1:30 PM) then corrected themselves and said that the pharmacy was going to lunch and that I would have to come back later. Excellent customer service!

It’s a nightmare calling them because the phone menu has “endless” steps, when all I want is to get directly to the pharmacy to speak with a PERSON. Then, the wait time is “forever” (always more than 15 minutes on hold before anyone answers). To add insult to injury, the repetitive hold music (electronic noises on loop) with intermittent voice telling me to get vaccinated, over and over and…you get the picture…drives me almost insane-SO annoying! There also seems to be a huge disconnect between corporate CVS (their app, etc) and the actual, local, brick n’mortar store and pharmacy!
