This place is badass and Steve is a badass too. Had a lot of fun. My girl had so much fun that she pouted when we had to leave. Great prices on the rentals. Made me feel like I was appreciated and a friend.

What a fun experience! Steve was informative, helpful and encouraging. 2 hours was plenty of time to enjoy the lake and nearby coves. Our group of adults and a 12 year old (all new to SUP) had a great time. I even saw younger kids riding on their parents' boards. Highly recommend!

We are California Republic SUP on beautiful Lake Murray, in central South Carolina. We are open from Mother’s Day weekend to Labor Day each summer. During the the week, we run summer camps at various locations on the lake. Every Thursday night is Ladies Night from 6 pm - 8 pm. Every weekend, we are open from 10 am - 6 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are not required for weekend rentals, but are encouraged. To reserve boards, text Steve at (803) 608-5033. Tell him at what time you would like to come and how many boards you would like to reserve. The boards will be waiting for you when you arrive. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on our shaded lawn. Rentals cost just $25 for a two-hour paddle. Come explore Lake Murray!
