Need help? Go some where else.
My fiance and I rushed to this location with a kitten we found that couldn't be more than a few weeks old. With barely a glance toward the kitten, the lady told us she would be fine. A few hours later, she has unfortunately passed away.
There is another review for this vet where the same exact same story takes place. There's no telling how many more times this has happened and gone unreported.
To myself, an untrained eye, the kitten was in horrible shape. I expressed concerns such as wheezing as well as a clicking in her lungs when she breathed. Again, "she'll be okay".
She let us know that she could not see her anytime soon as she is already booked two weeks out. Someone who actually cares would have taken 5 minutes to at least examine the pitiful kitten. Instead, she tried to sell us on a spay.
Directly from the owner, in a comment to another review, "[we] have same day urgent care appointments reserved for critical cases". A simple inspection, and it would have been abundantly clear that she was indeed a "critical case".
As it was 15 minutes til closing time, I can't help but feel that the veterinary doctor was more concerned about clocking out, than she was over the well-being of a life lost too soon.
To anyone concerned, the kitten died peacefully, and I am glad that we were able to give her the experience of warmth and love for probably the first time in her very short life.
We cannot even begin to express how deeply devastated we are by this.
They should have and could have done more.

I’ve been coming a couple years getting cats spayed and neutered. I recently had a sick kitten and wasn’t sure how’d she’d pull thru. They were really good with Mousse and did all they could to help. Healthy and chunky!

been taking my animals to holmes for years. my dog needs help and i called holmes and they told me they do not do emergency visits. and they are booked 2 weeks out. thanks for helping my dog while he is in pain holmes. i will find another vet

Emergency came up with the boy and they turned him away. Can't knock em for being busy at 7 AM but I can knock em for not finding a way to see our dog.

Highly recommend! Unlike some comments ( Cynthia Riffle) the staff is kind and informative. Very professional. But here’s the thing, if your pets are not checked regularly they will not hand out prescription meds . What vet does?? Try a back ally drug dealer if you don’t want your pet checked to make sure the correct meds are given. Being on a fixed income, I love my pets and will budget for them and I NEVER write reviews but this was warranted.

I have been a long time customer. Today, I experienced the most Rude customer service from Malorie. I decided to order my pets meds online as there was a 40% off sale. My prescripton was declined. I called to ask why. Malorie said it was because my pet had not had an exam since 1/23. My dog is due for his repeat monthly dose of simparica on 4/26. I have been there every month for toe nail trim and buying his meds from them just fine without question or being told he was due for an exam. Now they dont have an exam time available until May 18. They refused to renew my pet meds until that exam date, putting my pet at risk of fleas, tics and heartworm. I asked to speak with the vet. No luck. I asked for a return call, no luck. I asked for the vets email, no luck.
Malorie should be fired for rude inconsiderate attitude. Never once, said let me ask as long as my appt was scheduled which I did.
Good job, going to go to Clinton animal hospital for appt on 4/24. Amazing they could get me in but not my long time vet.

My first visit went very well. I brought my dog to be neutered and the staff were very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back.
