This such a unique and amazing shop. If your into clocks or just unique item, this is the place for you. You have to go around the store to see everything (even with that I am sure we missed some things) The owners are so friendly and helpful. This is a smallish store, but ohhh the wonders you will find. Can't wait to go back.

This place is amazing! I spent 2 1/2 hours in a clock shop in Latta. A friend had told me about the shop and thought that I might enjoy looking around. I was not disappointed. There were so many unique things that I could not begin to describe them all. I was only interested in clocks, but there is much more in this shop than just clocks. The owner was helpful and patient with my difficulty in making a decision about what I wanted to purchase. I wanted to get my wife something special that she would always remember. The problem that I had was that she loved all of the ones that I sent her to look at. She was not with me, but the owners were accommodating in letting me send multiple photos to her so that I got the one she liked best. For her, it was a difficult decision but I have given it to her and she was beyond happy with it. I eventually decided to purchase 3 clocks and the total price was what I had expected for one. My clocks were well-prepared for me to bring home. I had no idea of what steps should be taken in transporting a clock. With each of the three I was told how to set them up and things that I should do to prepare them once I arrived home verbally and was also provided written information. Even if you have no particular interest in clocks, this is a great place to visit. It seemed that is was a museum of shorts. I never felt pressured to purchase anything, in spite of my multiple requests for information. I will add that if you want a truly South Carolina culinary experience that Shuler's BBQ in right down the road and offers a great traditional South Carolina meal. Latta is easy to access off of I-95. While most of you may have never heard of Latta, my time there was joyous.

Looked interesting from outside, so I started to go in. I was stopped in my tracks by a sign on the door offering answers to birth control, free. I was shocked, offended, and turned off. Here's hoping the owner gets this message and removes the sign. If the owner is the person who was unlocking the door and spiffing up the entrance, it is a 60- ish white male, well dressed and distinguished looking.

We have lived in latta for 19 years and have bought many gifts at Jim Ellis' shop, always quality items at excellent prices. He has repaired a number of clocks for us over the years and is extremely reasonably priced and timely in preforming the work.
We also own an Inn in the same town and have had many guests shop at Treasures From the Attic over the years, always with positive comments. In addition any number of our guests traveling to and from Florida have brought their clocks for Jim to repair. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or traveling I-95 North and South as the town is just 5 miles from the interstate.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! This store has a huge selection of fabulous clocks, but that's only part of the wonderful items that unfold when you step inside this true TREASURE of a shop in Latta, SC! There's something for everyone, and your can't go wrong with the perfect gift for yourself or someone else. I couldn't resist the large selection of Charleston and Southern Gate Jewelry. The St. Philips Steeple Gate Pendant that I purchased is gorgeous! It goes with everything, but also have the look and feel of fine jewelry! The owner, Jim Ellis, will make sure you can even get the perfect chain length. Every time I'm in the area, I plan to stop by to see what's new, especially in the Italian inlay and other fine music boxes. Don't miss watching The Nutcracker Music Box - 3 different dances and the Bear music box piano - just 2 of many! You will love this store too!!!
