Terrible company. Unethical. If you're out of gas you're on your own. Expect a 2 week wait unless you pay them $200 extra for a 3 day wait, I kid you not. There are many other choices for propane. Heck, any other choice would be better. When you see Freeman Gas, run. Bought a new house serviced by Freeman? Pull the tank and get a new one from literally anybody but Freeman.

Since I could only afford 100 gallons of propane, they said it be 10 days because the people who are on auto fill up get first service, they could work Saturday and Sunday delivering gas to needy people, I’m a veteran of the Vietnam war, I live on the main road from Landrum about 2 miles from the company, I’m going to call the CEO of the company Monday and tell them my story, I had to wear long johns and wool top to bed for 5 days because they would not bring me any propane, I pray the people in charge get reprimanded.

I went to Freeman have my gas tank filled. There was nobody there to fill the tank. That's Okay, that can happen. I was given a label to write my name on, that was attached to the tank, so I could pick it up later when it was full. When I came back a few days later, to pick up my tank, it was gone and nobody had any idea "someone must have taken it sorry".I asked are you giving me another one? They stared at me as if I'd done an indecent proposition. No more Freeman for me.PeterGowensville, SC

Not sure why but this is the second time that I've called for a refueling. The first time it took over a week before they came out. Now I need a refueling again and it's been over a week again what's going on????

I would give Freeman 5 stars, EXCEPT that we got off to a bad start with setting up our account and getting gas delivered, causing us to run out of propane. However, Freeman Gas went out of their way to reconcile and correct the situation. Thank you, Dana.

Nice people, good price, sometimes we have to wait a little while to get filled but oh well. Set prices for size of tank, cheaper than up north!!

COVID has effected even the good folks of this country. Don’t show up for appointment and to busy to call you. It’s a shame to see what this gov is doing to us. So sad.

We found them to be very rude/unprofessional, terrible at following up, it took weeks to get a quote sent over, they didn’t call back when they said they would, they didn’t show up when they said they would. Business must be good because they didn’t seem to want ours! We ended up going somewhere else!

RIP OFF! Would not recommend refilling your small propane tanks at Freeman Gas in Landrum. They charge a flat rate fee up front to refill your propane tanks seemingly no matter how much may be left in the tank. They hadn't even seen my tanks to know how much they needed and still they charged $15 per tank based on their new charge schedule as of December 2020. I could have had a quarter tank left in each and still would have been charged as much. That's ROBBERY. I'll keep going to Tractor Supply where am promised to pay fair prices. Again, what a RIP OFF.
The attendant was pleasant enough though...They at least earn one star for that.

Friendly staff, and great service. We have had Freeman Gas for about a year now and we have never run out of gas. We recently upgraded our water heater to the newer tankless model and we love it.

My daughter was having some college friends to our mountain cabin house. We needed propane to heat the cabin. Freeman Gas was easy to work with in setting up an account and filled out tank the next day. Very appreciative.

So it's our first winter in our new home & we were in search of someone to install a propane tank & run the line inside the home to a free standing gas stove, simple enough , right ? I was going to use Amerigas but they were running way behind , so I thought I would give Freeman gas a call , I explained to the lady on the phone it was a new brick home and I didn't want someone who didn't know what they were doing to drill a hole through my home , she answered that no one there had less than 15 years , with the attitude how dare I even ask . They took one oversized drill bit and ripped through the wall tearing the full face off the brick on the outside of the home and one big hole on the Sheetrock on the inside of the home , I will add pictures of the holes . They brought out on old ugly tank that we are going to rent from them and told my wife we could paint it , they did replace it with a nice tank , that's why I'm leaving two stars instead of one star .
The guys who did the installing were nice enough , no problems there , but one big drill bit to do the job ? I have drilled enough holes to know to start small and work your way up without tearing something all to pieces. I wouldn’t recommend using them for any type of installation.
