The two ladies that were working at the bank today in Lancaster Walmart were absolutely amazing! I had some very difficult questions & they talked me through them all & worked very hard to find out what the issues were! They are lifesavers!!

I signed up and was so happy and pleased.. skip forward 24hrs... They put what wrong? They got my social security number wrong. How? How did they even go through with the wrong number? Now I'm going through a marathon trying to get it fixed.This is not the experience customers should go through.

I opened an account in Lancaster, PA but live half of the years in Tucson, Arizona. If you need to contact them by phone or use their 24 hour customer service line forget it. They DO NOT have 24hour live service. I lost my debit/Visa card and someone was using it. I tried calling their 800 number for lost or stolen credit cards. All I got was a message telling me to call them during regular business hours. So it’s Friday night, someone is charging on my card, and I have to wait until Monday to call the bank. So, on Monday I call and a robo operator tells me to enter my card number. Really? The card is lost and I do not have it memorized. After numerous attempts you would think that the recording would say, “It sounds like you’re having difficulties, let me transfer you to an operator.” No, that would be too easy, it just simply asks you over and over and over for your account number. I finally gave up and called the bank directly which is not much better in terms of answer (though the in-branch employees are very nice) but at least I’m able to speak to somebody in person. However they to have to call that 800 number and put me on hold while doing so and of course they get the same type of reaction or response. It’s frustrating to the branch employees as well. What kind of bank does not have live 24hour service. I finally (just) got through to someone who told me that I have to come into the branch personally. Really? I’m 2300 miles away. Their response: “Sorry, you’ll have to come into the branch personally.” This was from a supervisor.If you need professional customer service, do not bank with Woodforest Bank.
