Two of the managers (one looked like a store manager) are incredibly rude. I was shopping and they came up and ask if I needed anything. I said nah I'm ok. They took maybe 2 steps away. Then one whispered to the other, they look at me, they laughed and I heard one say "good one" . They didn't ask anyone else if they needed help and I was the only one wearing a mask (my wife has no immune system) . Clearly it was a joke on me... I shop here ever single week.. well I did before this. I'm sending this issue to corporate as well. I shouldn't have to shop with harassment from management.

The customer service is terrible at the location. When they first opened here it was great. I believe it all comes down to a management problem. They just don't seem to care anymore.

pricey, hate the seafood smell and it is chaotic inside. for the people that shop there it is almost a game to touch as many people as you can, space people you deserve any airborne illness if you are going to be that stupid. literally someone is right on top of you the entire time even when you are tying to avoid people. they come at you, odd.

Don't go to the deli and expect fast service. This is not a new issue. The wait is long and staff is slow.

Definitely not the Publix I'm use to. Ive been to hundreds of Publix stores from Florida to NC to SC, this store however misses the mark. Ive been in several times since now unfortunately this is my closest store, and everyone just seems miserable. No smiles, no hello how are you, no can i help you find something, just pure misery. The damn Food Lion next door isn't any better but at least the prices match the misery! Also when did this place start taking cues from Walmart, 1 register open on a weekend, really? The one register is 10 items or less...seriously? If I had 10 items or less i wld go to self checkout!!!DUH! Congratulations Lake Wylie Publix, you are probably the crappiest Publix I've ever been to in my entire life!

I've had an experience at Publix I just have to share. Publix is considered a higher end grocery store - higher prices for better quality, right? No! Every single trip to Publix I check the expiration dates before I buy. I cannot recall one trip I have made there with having to sift through the expired goods to find fresh or not so expired. Today I experienced a problem with their chicken. I bought Publix chicken breast got home put them in the crock pot. I put them in the pot turned it on, turned to wash dishes and 5 minutes later there were MAGGOTs on my counter and in the crock pot. I was shocked, appalled and seriously upset that not only did I bring these into my home but I paid for them to be there. I chucked everything and lysoled my counters and surrounding areas at least 5 times. I took pictures of the pot, the packaging and the maggots and brought it to Publix. The response was "well we don't package it here". That's it nothing more. Filled out a quality control form and sent the pictures to the manager to add to the quality control complaint. I questioned the manager about the experience and the constants lack of quality control and having expired product on the shelf. His reaction was "well we have 60000 items in the store and we do our best. My response is if you stock 60000 items you must have the customer base to rotate the goods off the shelves and keep inventory fresh "well we try". I also mentioned items expiring in a short time frame and that it's a way for Publix to make money because you get it home and in 4 days it's expired and no longer fresh so you have to go buy more. His response "we have to put out what they send us". Really??? Where is the regard and care for the well being of your customer??? There was absolutely no effort to pull chicken from the case and check it. What about the prepared food at Publix. How do we know contaminated chicken wasn't used in that? So if you're into chicken with maggots or want to pay for expired food shop at Publix #publix, #expiredfood, #poorexcuses, #overrated#overpriced #disgusting, #rotten

This location is very convenient for me but probably won't be back. 6pm on Wednesday and they have 1 register open for big orders and the 1 for 10 and under. Not very efficient given they had 5 or so registers empty. Then i had my ten items bagged in the worst way- bread and eggs and neither done as usually had done - basically junked all with everything and pushed at end of conveyer. He waited on next guy and he left before I even finished re bagging the stuff that's how messed up stuff was- guy didn't even look my way and they still didn't open another register. Overall bad customer service

When Publix first opened in Lake Wylie, I thought I would be a regular shopper. That has since changed. 1st) produce selection and quality is not consistent. But the more important issue for me 2) was an event today where I was asking for a rotisserie chicken and the employee informed me that while they were done and ready, she didn't have time to get them out yet. I asked her when she would and she said about fifteen minutes. I shopped the store and returned about twenty minutes later only to find her equally as frustrated and continuing to exclaim her lack of time to help. This was not good customer service so I left abruptly and went to Food Lion to secure a fresh cooked rotisserie chicken without the side of complaining! If they don't have time for their customers.... that's a problem. My family and I will take our business somewhere where we are not an inconvenience.

Publix is great with the cooking demonstrations but their vegetables are few and not so fresh. I should not be able to bend a carrot and then not be able to find any others. Also the last time I was in we went for a food sample and were served raw fish. I actually stopped at the service desk to let them know when the young lady seemed to be unaware I was speaking to her. She just said ok. I would shop here more often if things were fresher.

Pretty nice store. The bakery is the bomb. The best next to earthfare. Nice seafood and cheese selection. Very helpful employees and they carry everything the other stores don't. Love it.

Love this publix! Their staff are the sweetest and are always ready to help you with whatever you need. I go mostly because of the bakery and the hot bars/sandwich bars, and those employees make you feel great even when you're just purchasing your lunch. I'll continue to do business with you guys and keep ordering delicious BD cakes whenever we need one. (or sometimes just want cake :) )

I want to like this store because I'm told it has the best quality however their produce department leaves a lot to be desired. You can never tell how fresh the items are. Whenever I buy anything that is packaged it has spoiled within a couple of days. This happened with red, new potatoes, lemons, blackberries and peppers. Bought Blackberries 2 days ago. They have been in fridge and when I went to use them there is mold on them already. I am tired of literally throwing my money down the garbage disposable. Also although the deli department for the most part is well staffed they just go about their business as if your not there. Even without a single customer at the counter you have to wait for service. From what I can tell from other reviews (on other sites like google) this is a common issue but the store doesn't seem to care.
