My husband bought me a ring from Mrs. Townsend in their jewelry department. She sold it to my husband reassuring him that it was sterling silver. It has the .925 mark on it BUT I was messing with a magnet and it stuck to it. I took it to another jeweler and they told me that the ring is silver plated and that my husband over paid by $260. So beware if you buy jewelry from these people. They will lie to you. Will not make that same mistake ever again.
