Not consistent with orders or the accuracy of orders. Communication is horrible! Not sure how they got a government contract! Will be looking for another company

Debbie is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. She jumps to conclusions before finding out all the facts. Has no idea what is going on on the other side of things and instead of seeking understanding, she just goes to tear you down. Someone like this has no business dealing with the public. Part of being in management is knowing how to deal with upset customers. This is a skill she clearly lacks. Your business will suffer as long as she is there.

Claimed medicaid will not provide patient with equipment for surgery if I already have electric wheelchair . When they decided not to help me, they proceeded to contact my doctor and surgery is postponed. I contacted medicaid and my insurance company and there is no set rule for this with medicaid. If the company wouldn't help me they had no right to interfere with my treatment.
The company never follows through. It takes forever to get replacement batteries for wheel chair and the new batteries wouldn't charge fully on both replacement batteries.
Buyer beware.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Debbie is unprofessional and needs a serious lesson on customer service. She has no compassion for others and is one of the most cold hearted people I have ever had to deal with. Please do not do business with these people. You will be sorely disappointed in the lack of care that they seem to have for their customers. Especially DEBBIE!

Pricing on their adult incontinence diapers is offensively high - nearly $50 for a bag of 14. This is WAY above market for even the best products.

The lady answering the phone is not helpful rushed you off the phone and if you ask questions it’s like you’re bothering her. She needs to work on her customer service skills because I will take my business elsewhere and let everyone I know to avoid them if that’s how you treat your customers!

I regret ever telling Debbie she was helpful, this has been a miserable experience. You can’t blame EVERYTHING on being short handed. Especially when I handed you a prescription and almost a month has gone by with NOTHING done about it! Avoid this place at all costs and take your business elsewhere! You can’t even get a call back! Debbie is always “busy” or “working on your stuff right now”. It’s all a bunch of bologna at this point.

Great customer service. They were able to explain the insurance process (which is a nightmare and a half) very kindly. Was able to get my grandma’s paperwork straightened out and got her the chair she properly needed. 10/10 thank you!

Was in store to purchase walker for mom mom. No one asked how much she weighed and they sold us to e only one they had with was bariatric walker for a person who weighed over 250 lbs, my mom weighs 119 and is 88 years old. OT and PT says it is too heavy for her and suggested it be exchanged. Pro med refuses because of COVID reasons. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone!! It’s all about sales.

Pro-Med 1 is the best medical equipment company we have ever encountered - and the owner, Debbie Slocum is the most kind and gracious lady. She helped us with the purchase of a wheelchair for our daughter and worked so hard to make sure every detail was perfect.Pro-Med 1 went far beyond what other dealers have done in the past. They are compassionate, conscientious, caring people! Our family is grateful for their reliability, expertise and professionalism.

Bought a lift chair 6 years ago. Worked fine for a year...then stopped. Called company, they had a part sent. Told us to change it out. If no result, call them. No result, we called. They ordered the touch pad. Called us to pick it up. If this didn’t work, they would schedule a service call, but we would be charged. Replaced it with new one...no result. Called today to see what could be done and, bottom line...company that makes the chairs has gone out of business and there is nothing they can do. I asked for someone to come out and check it out and was told BY THE OWNER that they would charge $100 just for them to look at it. I understand the company is out of business, but the “shrug of the shoulder - not my problem” attitude was offensive and unprofessional. As expensive as medical equipment is, this is an unacceptable response to me.If you’re looking for a company to take care of the customer - this one is not it! We will not recommend them to anyone based on the lack of service we received, not only today, but the 6 years since we purchased a defective product.
