The people were friendly, appropriately fast, and efficient. Nikita was especially helpful and addressed all of my concerns. They even fixed my friend's tire without an appointment! Highly recommend for quality service.

Terrible Experience at (Dis)Honest -1 Auto Care Ladson

Our recent experience at (Dis)Honest-1 Auto Care Ladson was nothing short of appalling. After having to return for a second time (the first return visit was due to the front-end alignment not being performed correct) to discuss our new concerns related to the front end work they completed just days prior, the manager (Chris) displayed a shocking level of rudeness and unprofessionalism. He was chauvinistic, disinterested and dismissive when my wife tried to discuss the issues with our vehicle.
Since the issue involved the front end (steering), we were deeply concerned with the safety of the vehicle and if it was road worth. It was clear that the repair was not performed correctly. This second instance of negligence only exacerbated our frustration and reinforced our concerns about the competence of their service. Despite clearly explaining the urgency and potential danger, they brushed her off and refused to take her concerns seriously. It was deeply unsettling for her to feel so disregarded as a paying customer.
To make matters worse, Chris made inappropriate remarks directed at my wife, which added insult to injury. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the professionalism of (Dis)Honest-1 Auto Care Ladson.
Despite our dissatisfaction, when we asked for the issues to be rectified and for the car to be re-examined, we were met with resistance and refusal. They showed no willingness to address their mistakes or improve the situation. As a result, we immediately took our vehicle to Gerald’s on Main Street in Summerville. Nick and the staff at Gerald’s looked our vehicle over, identified the shoddy repair job and fixed the issue at no charge.
In addition to the above, when they called to tell us what was wrong with the vehicle prior to performing the original repair, he proceeded to tell us that we also needed brakes, which was a lie. This was confirmed by Gerald’s. They also proceeded to quote us $750 for two front tires. The same two tires at Gerald’s are $430, out the door. This type of dishonesty has no place in our community and should not be tolerated.
In conclusion, I would strongly advise against using (Dis)Honest-1 Ladson for any automotive needs. Their lack of professionalism, poor service quality, dishonesty and disrespectful treatment towards customers, especially women, are inexcusable. I regret choosing them and hope this review serves as a warning to others seeking reliable and respectful car repair services. If you want to be treated fairly and have an honest assessment of your vehicle, go to Gerald’s just a few minutes down the road.

After rounding over a bolt on my skid plate, they refused to replace it even though I had the new bolt. Over the phone they said to come in and they had time to do it, but once there they said it would be a wait. This is not the first bad service I have had there, but it will be my last.

Today I experienced the most vile auto care experience at the hands of this location's manager Chris Minerva. He showed annoyance with my confusion as he explained why my warranty was invalid. His reasoning for it's invalidity being that the location is under new management and my issue was not diagnosed by Honest-1 Auto Care (despite this not being an issue when I paid for the warranty).
I advise anyone who is having issues with their car to not patronize Honest-1 Auto Care's College Park Location and their new management. Mr. Chris Minerva also said some unpleasant things to me that I will not share here. From the moment I encountered him, he was not pleasant nor welcoming. He displayed NO traits of having good customer service. I hope that Honest-1 Auto Care's College Park location will find better management as their previous management was very helpful.

I wouldn’t go here. They schedule appointments to get you in and then tell you to drop off car. $200 to look at the car that isn’t applied to the cost of repair. None of the above is mentioned upon scheduling appointment so you’ve just wasted your morning.

Scheduled an appointment for 8:30 am for a a rattling noise coming from the engine. Showed up at 8:25 and was told they were going to do an engine diagnostic. Two hours later I noticed the car hadn’t been looked at and was just parked where I left it. I went to ask the receptionist for an update and he said they were gonna bring it into the shop soon. An hour later and the car was still parked outside. Asked for my keys back and just went somewhere else.

I do not recommend this place at all, terrible service and they do not do the complete job and they are not at all honest, they charge you for things that they did not do and the parts they charge you 3 times more than their real value, terrible service. I would never go back to that place

The young man who did the actual work on the truck was good. My problem was with the person who you set up the work needed to be done and paying. This person didn't live up to the company name "HONEST-1". Asked how I was paying cash or credit. I said Cash. I got the receipt and went to truck. Took a moment and looked over the receipt. Was charged for using credit. I went back inside and questioned the person who handled the transaction as to how he charged me for using credit when we had discussed the type of payment and he held the Cash money in his hand. I received the money that was charged for credit card use but never received any type of apology for what he had done. I told him he wasn't living up to the company name.
