Visited Ladson Ace Hardware for the 1st time and the customer service was amazing! We met Mr Calvin Rooney & he was extremely nice & I can say he was genuine nothing forced! The other staff members were friendly & willing to help even when we were only there a short time! You never know how a simple “Hello!” can make your entire day! Thank you Ace!!

Absolutely the worst Uhual experience overall I’ve ever received in my life from the most unprofessional and uninformed staff EVER. Got the run around for an entire day because of a billing issue they “couldn’t fix” and I had to “call U-Haul” who said the exact opposite and had to call regional representative to make changes because a store would not.
Storm knocked down tress in our driveway and we were physically unable to drop a trailer back to location. U-Haul approved finally the refund but flat out told us the store could have easily made this exception with managers approval which they denied over and over they could not and was of course yet again, all Uhauls fault. After reading a few other U-Haul related issues at this location I’d highly recommend going to literally ANY other location.
Worst customer service and basic SERVICE attempt I’ve ever received. Do better or get rid of your employees not equipped to know the systems needed to do their jobs. And watch your disrespectful tone with customers, it’s a hot summer and that’s going to lead to bigger issues as well

hello, I had a terrible experience at this location moving with their U-Haul extension. They are in charge of renting the U-Haul out. They sent me on my way with the tank quarter tank from full, I go to return it and they basically shoot me out the door, saying you gotta refill it… locating to our new home was less than 15 minutes away, was an extremely short move. We hardly even used fuel. but I had to pay for filling it all the way back up, because that’s what they told me to do when I brought them the key by hand. Basically making me spend an extra $30 when it just need to be topped off for $10. they did not have moving carpets and were unprepared, and the service was incredibly rude. When returning it blaming me for everything. I highly advise you use a different location. I have pictures and I will be disputing the entire charge now with American Express.

Needed some glass replaced on a furniture door. Took the door in and the gentleman quickly took measurements, cut the glass, and installed it in the door frame. It could not have been easier or faster. Thank you Ace!
