“When you first enter, it’s like traveling back in time to a simpler era. Old-fashioned heart-filled customer service.My wife and I were eager to stop by. We had an All the Way dog, chili & cheese dog, and a Wadmaslaw dog. Simple ingredients, but mighty delicious. It’s hard to find food made with love anymore, but you’ll find it here. We decided to get a side of “Grandaddy’s Chicken Salad” and man oh man am I glad we did. It was simply SPECTACULAR. The best chicken salad I’ve had in my entire life. So much so that we went right back in for seconds lol. My wife hates celery typically, but miraculously they were able to make her gobble it right up in this chicken salad. She usually picks around it! There is so many options for local produce/goods. I chatted with the owner for a while, and he is the most down to earth, friendliest owner I’ve ever spoke with at a business. We felt welcomed and at home. Even though we’re from out of state, we will most definitely be going back before our long trek home. Please support this family owned business and may God bless and keep them! ??❤️”
“The ladies restroom is dirty. There is mold growing on the sink faucets. You have to touch the paper towel holder with your clean hands to get one if it is not hanging out. The handicap toilet will not even flush the paper. The middle toilet has black mold growing in the bowl. We have shopped here since it has opened 30 years ago. Please clean the restroom!!!!!”
“This was my first time stopping in to pick up f their new food truck. Ordered 1 quesadilla that was so giant we saved half for tomorrow. The quesabirria had plenty of meat in it. The tacos were delicious, and so was the tres leches.”

“There isn't much in Folly Beach in the way of grocery so seeing a HT is nice. They have all the usual staples and if you're renting on the beach like we did, you can go and get plenty of food and snacks to make some meals at home. It's large and well-stocked and has everything you'd need from the store including deli, veggies, fruits, pastries, etc.”
“I shop here all the time for the last 25 years the deli manager had been there for as long as I can remember and he knows all the regular customers by name and greets everyone as the past by the deli giving you a feeling of family and the price are good”

“My wife and I were shopping online for my mother during this COVID-19 pandemic. We live on the west coast and were trying to make a delivery order and- after spending 45 minutes compiling the order- couldn't get a delivery time. We called the store and Debbie (sp?) answered. She was very patient, but explained that due to order volumes that they were 2 weeks out for delivery and that's likely why the online system wouldn't work for us. To be clear, this review is to give Debbie KUDOS because she pointed us to another delivery service that worked out. No idea about the store itself... Thanks Debbie!”
“I like shopping to Dollar General it's a great place to shop just sometimes the one on Savannah Highway it closes way before time and it has been for a long time so I have to go all the way over on 61 in order to go to the Dollar General sometimes that's the only thing I hate about it”

“Really pleasant experience with curbside pickup. Waited maybe ~2 min for a staff member to come out with my order.I was doing an DIY-project with barstool cushions and was able to get all my supplies at Walmart, for a good price (yay Black Friday deals!). They have a good selection of fabric patterns as well, in various sizes. Thankful this spot is close by for when I forget items!”
“It is a great little spot for groceries while staying in Johns Island and Kiawah. They always have the best items and have most of what I was looking for. If you need a quick grocery trip while staying in Kiawah or Johns Island, this is a go to. The grocery store is one of the biggest in the area and will meet all of your grocery store needs.”

“Probably the best 'gas sation' on the planet. All gas stations should use this store's approach as their business model. Excellent fried chicken and lovely staff. I've also heard they sell live finger mullet out of the back door on occasion. Yet to see it tho”
