I would strongly recommend calling before making a trip this way, hard to review accurately as we never got to enter. We arrived at 5:57 one evening and they were already closed (closing time listed 6pm), and then made a special trip to come back another day and they said they opened at 10 am, when their website and all review said they were open, but were again not open. Looked cute but very frustrated to waste time twice and not be able to pick up a birthday present either time.

Nice staff. Great , large, enclosed, bath and grooming area for the it yourselfers. They provide everything you need, shampoo, conditioner, towels, dryers, brushes, combs, and the like. Very affordable and clean.

August 2020 update: Dolittle's is open with plenty of food, treats, toys, collars, bedding, and other accessories for dogs. Prices are significantly higher here than online or some other pet stores, but this is a great way to support a local business or get something you need quickly. Service is always great, and my pup enjoys coming in for a treat.

Dolittle's is a great pet store that includes high-quality dog food, treats, toys, and accessories. Of course, you can bring you pup in with you to shop. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Doolittle's in Freshfields is such a fun place to shop for my dogs and cats. They have a really good selection of the best pet foods, a very nice array of pet toys and accessories, wonderful treats, and the nicest and most helpful/knowledgeable people to assist customers.
