Terrible customer service. After charging me $3 for an ATM transaction, I was told, rather rudely, they would not change a $20 bill because I wasn't a customer. I thought paying them a fee for a transaction made me a customer? I took the $20 down the street to Bank of America that changed it for me with a smile, no questions asked.

This location has horrible customer service. They are unwilling to help in ANY way. They also will not let a significant other make a deposit for you in the store, only at an ATM b/c they say they don't allow this but can't prove it is someone else if you do it at an ATM... so why does that make any sense?? Someone with legit information and deposit necessities in the branch isn't ok, but a random person messing with you account at the ATM would be ok in their eyes b/c they "wouldn't know." I have had multiple horrible encounters with house closings, deposits, etc. at this location. Switching banks.

Worst Wells Fargo I’ve been too, unless your going to the window don’t bother. I sat over 2 hours to get my debit card and they told me to wait. I left with nothing.The people that work there are too lazy in their own job. Worst service.

I have not been inside a bank for a very long time- well well before the covid pandemic. There was a glitch on the website with an address change I needed to do (the website identified my correctly formatted address as incorrectly formatted and would not let me make the change)- so I had to speak to a person about it. During COVID there are signs at the door that say to use the drive through, and I have used the drive through here several different times and the bankers who operate it are very knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. This time when I told the drive through person what I needed, she said that had to be done in the bank. The bank was operating on a 'by appointment only' basis, but she said there was a banker available to me at that moment. SO, I parked and went inside. First, the take the pandemic seriously (not everyone around here does)- masks are required and there is plenty of touch-less hand sanitizer availability. I met with Debi and she was so helpful with my address change, i decided while I was there to take care of some other things I had been procrastinating. Debi helped me with a smile! I am so glad I went inside this branch. I will need to do it more often than every 5 years ;)

Today I used the Kiawah branch of Wells Fargo to open a new account. This branch is highly convenient, and my appointment with my banker went smoothly. Bankers here are knowledgable and friendly.

Went to cash a check written to me on a Wells Fargo account. Had to go in the bank and leave a thumb print on the check. I will not accept another Wells Fargo check.
