This was my first visit as a foster parent to this facility. The vet tech was very nice. The facility is visually pleasing and clean. I felt comfortable speaking with the personnel and asking questions. But, it is a little difficult to get the vet tech to return a call when I have a question about an appointment. 24 hours later I still hadn't heard anything from the vet tech or the clinic and wound up having to call the clinic back.

The team is very friendly and really seemed to care for my Havanese. They got my dog in, diagnosed her and performed surgery right away for an emergency condition. She is doing well and I am very appreciative to the team for taking such good care of her. ? ?

Wonderful vet and vet technician took care of my dog. He's from out of state- not used to the itchiness of SC bug bites- and they gave him an anti-itch pill. So helpful very grateful! :-)

I recently visited Sun Dog Cat Moon Veterinary Clinic and was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that everyone truly cares for the pets. The team was attentive, knowledgeable, and made both me and my pet feel comfortable and well-cared for. I am grateful for the exceptional care provided by SDCM. We’ve been using SDCM for several years as our primary veterinarian care and the staff has always been attentive, taking the time to listen to our concerns and answer all our questions. The veterinarians and technicians are truly compassionate. They treated our pup with kindness and respect, making sure they were comfortable throughout the entire process. Their love for animals is evident in their handling and tone used when speaking to our pup. What sets this clinic apart is their commitment to doing a good job. They are thorough in their examinations, ensuring no stone is left unturned when it comes to our pup’s health. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Sun Dog Cat Moon has been to our border collie/cocker spaniel, Lola! We came to them wanting a second opinion after our last vet told us that she needed surgery on her knees, she was having difficulty walking at the point but our old vet was not giving us the reason why. SDCM figured out the really problem and Lola got cold laser therapy on her knees and she was cured!!! We have stayed with them ever since. Every visit is so thorough. Lola’s diet has completely changed and has added years on her life. She went in with skin allergies the other day and walked out of the office like a diva, totally itch free. Every interaction we’ve had with an employee there is amazing and Dr Pruitt is INCREDIBLE!!!! (In the pictures, this is Lola hiding under their table and the tech giving her all of the treats to build trust with her, by the end she didn’t want to leave! ?)

Beyond happy that i found this clinic. Every single staff member is so friendly and genuinely seem like they care and love their job! Dr. Clayton is absolutely wonderful! She's very calm/relaxed and extremely informative! I've never felt so listened to and comfortable at a veterinary clinic before. My 12 year old dog was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and I felt like my previous vet wasn't giving me as much direction as i was hoping for on my options for his treatment plan other than "you could change his kibble to the one we sell". Dr. Clayton took the time to listen to my concerns, and helped me understand more about what we're dealing with. She recommended a fresh kidney specific diet, and got him started on some natural supplements. Happy to update that within 1 month his values are down a tiny bit and I'm hopeful that they will come down a bit more with consistency. I can't express how great it feels to know that even though he received a rough diagnosis, the staff at Sun Dog Cat Moon will be there to help us along the way!
They have also helped me with my other pup who has been limping on and off for a few months, after multiple vet visits with my previous vet where I would leave feeling like not much was done besides being sent home with some pain meds. I brought him to Dr. Clayton. Again, after the first visit i felt more informed and like we had a plan of action to figure out his pain. She recommended laser therapy but living an hour away I unfortunately can't bring him into the clinic as often as needed so I borrowed a home laser from a family member to use on him for now at least. This seems to be helping a lot along with her other recommendations!
I highly recommend this clinic! My pups and I appreciate all of you so much!

The staff is very knowledgeable and my dog is so comfortable with the treatment she receives from the Vet Techs to the Doctor. Love the fact that animals are examined at floor level rather than a large stainless steel exam table.
