I had a couch recovered that took months first of all. The quality was horrible. The couch came back with the cushions a different size ! I asked for my extra fabric and was told there was none. All of a sudden when I proved there was a problem with the cushions extra fabric was found. Promises were made about making new cushions and returning fabric. None of them were kept! They would not take my calls or return messages. It was a terrible experience for me!

I had a large order for recovering cushions that took over 6 months. While I understand the impacts of COVID, there was no communication, the workmanship was not good, my 8 pillows and covers were not returned, zippers are cheap, one breaking on first use and my letter describing my concerns to company went without a response. Whatever there issues are this is not the way to run any business. I do NOT recommend.

We had great experience with Powell's about 20 years ago and decided to try them again to reupholster two sofas. They took sofas end of April, and we received back first week in June. No complaints there. The workmanship was good; however, they over-ordered the $78 per yard fabric by 10 yards. We asked why so much overage to which they had no answer. We also asked for written agreement we signed at the time we selected fabric and agreed to the job, and never received. We asked for partial refund of the $780 overage we paid, but was told that was just their policy to over-order fabric. We understood them to say a couple yards overage at the most, but not 10!

A nightmare experience trying to get an expensive sofa's cushions refilled. They tore the old ones apart and left them lying around their dirty workroom for months without ever calling me. Then, they ordered a cheap foam which was not the promised springdown stuffing. If that wasn't bad enough, after they admitted that they could not do springdown cushions, they kept my huge deposit. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.
