A Great Bookstore! At FreshFields Village between Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island and Bohicket. Plenty of free parking. Super knowledgeable, friendly and kind staff.Great selection. Plus good local books.Dog Friendly, too.Nice coffee shop next door.Around the corner from The Co-Op sandwich and Frose restaurant.

So disappointed. Walked in with my kids to find some fun books. Sadly nobody working here could be bothered to help and when I asked about a book they just said they don't have it, not offering other suggestions. We love going to book stores and have been coming here but won't be back. We love supporting local book stores but when they choose to sit around rather than offer help and be welcoming, there is a problem. Seems like this is inline with other reviews.

Such a nice little shop!The staff is extremely knowledgeable, especially with their local clientele.Though we were visiting from out of town, we found some really fun nature and true crime books!

One of my favorite bookstore, definitely my favorite in SC. Why? The people who run it they care about everyone who enters. They will get you whatever you wish for. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a great shop for the size! We appreciated the local section, the children’s books and the general atmosphere. I wish we had a store like this local to us.

Great little book store where the offerings are diverse with up-to-date fiction and non-fiction. If they don't have it, it can be ordered. The personnel are readers who suggest their favorites. Go there to buy gifts for friends and don't miss there great greeting card selection.

Excellent book store! I think it’s very important that we continue to support these establishments so that we don’t lose them!Very kind to my children and even let my son pay (which easily added minutes to the process haha)Highly recommend!

Indigo Books is a locally-owned bookstore in Freshfields and one of the only independent bookstores in the area. They have a diverse selection of adult, YA, and children's books of all varieties. In addition, Indigo Books keeps a good selection of greeting cards, gift wrap, games, and newspapers. They have a section of local fiction and nonfiction books. There are usually a good number of books on their sale shelf as well. The staff members are knowledgable and helpful, and they have a frequent buyer rewards program. I wish there was a larger section to read in this bookstore, but they do have a few chairs and a lamp in one area.
