“This place is awesome! Don't robotically go to some "big box" store and get ZERO help. When you walk in Warren the material expert greets you immediately, they're not 10' up a ladder stocking shelves. Ahhh customer service.....remember that!?”
“I went in to True Value today to get a part for my broken birdfeeder. I brought the broken feeder in with me to show the type of cord that I needed to replace. I expected to buy the cord and fix the feeder myself, but Caleb at True Value fixed it for me without me even asking. He spent 15 or 20 minutes assisting me and actually had to use several tools I don't have at home. He even re-did part of the job to make sure it was perfect, not just acceptable. End result? My bird feeder is sturdier now than before it broke!One project crossed off the to-do list.... for a grand total of $2.18!! You just don't get this kind of service at the big-box stores. I will definitely be coming back here.(As an added bonus, I found Jesus at True Value also. Well.... Jesus kind of found me. He's the store's cat!!)”
“Had to have keys made for my truck. Lowe's, Walmart, etc uses an automated key system that was absolutely no help. One employee at Walmart was dumbfounded by the concept of duplicating keys. Went to Ace and they have the manual system. Made my extra keys with no issues. Super friendly and knowledgeable.”

“This is one of my favorite true values in Charleston. You get a sense that this place is very well managed because there's so many employees here that are incredibly helpful. But there is one that is truly exceptional, Autumn. There's been a few times that I've gone in in politely deferred help that was offered, and she could see right where I was turning around in the aisles what I was looking for. More often than not she knows exactly where it is or a possible solution to a project I'm working on.”
