Its a grocery store, a bit better than most, with average prices and great selection of stuff.

They allow employees to smoke on the sidewalk. I hate second hand smoke. Never any shopping carts and today I took the last basket. Items in the meat area in the stand along coolers that come in prepackaged still do not have signs giving the price. It still looks cluttered and somewhat dirty. No improvement.

Great deals but self checkout is a pain, I get you’re trying to prevent theft but I’m impatient

I’ve given it a few tries, but my last time will truly be my last time. It’s December 23rd, I had to pick up Swiffer wipes and a bag of ice for a party. There were only two registers open that weren’t self checkout, and no express lane. Since I’m new I didn’t know where the bagged ice was, so I had no choice but one of the two long lines. The wait was about ten minutes— understandable since it’s a busy time of year. However, two managers were watching from customer service with their arms crossed while I waited. Not a good look. I got to the front and asked I can grab the ice myself or someone has to get it for me. The cashier replied sarcastically like I’m an idiot. Two more lanes opened up by the time I got to the front, and it would have made sense to notify the person with literally two items, but they did not. Never returning.

Sabrina the young lady with the burgundy hair is an amazing cashier! She is friendly, and seems to really care how your day is going. One day I was having a terrible day and she cheered me up instantly. Customer service like this is rare in this day and age. She deserves a raise from Kroger! Keep hiring cashiers like her. She I the reason why I shop here. I ALWAYS go in her line. An infectious personality.

I regularly go to Kroger, but I am writing based on my experience today. I’ll preface with I usually use self-checkout and today I was reminded why. Ashley was my checkout person, and I asked from the get-go if I needed to be bagging my own groceries because no one was at the end and I was told that someone would be right there. So, I came around and was waiting to insert my card to pay and while that was happening, no one came to bag the groceries and all of my stuff was being squished at the end. Ashley and another coworker chose to talk over my head and complain that one of their coworkers wasn’t back and kept trying to get other employees attention while they were helping other customers. They also were complaining about how they couldn’t wait to be off at 8 pm… it was 4. I don’t mind bagging up my own groceries, but when I’m told that someone’s going to be there, I expect them to come back. They never did, so I start bagging some of the groceries on my end, and Ashley starts bagging some that’s closer to them. Well, Ashley never looks at me, puts the bags as close to her as possible so I’m having to lean way over the checkout to grab the bags, and never says a word to me as I’m trying to stretch to get them. It was just a very unpleasant experience, and I did not appreciate that they chose to talk over me to each other, complain, and not even a “sorry for this inconvenience.” I worked in retail/food industry for years and I just know that was an incredibly unprofessional experience. I’ll definitely stick with self-checkout from now on though…

How the mighty fall sometimes. Used to be a great grocery store. Severe decline over the last several years. Unfriendly staff, chaotic layout, certain entry doors randomly closed for no apparent reason, reduced quality inventory

Offering services online that they cash money orders with instructions on how but when u call they don't do it at all. False advertising and cashier was rude about it coming up with different stuff , like online says money center close at 11 but we close at 8 as an excuse and for them advertising wrong . I said once u hit on the site it says 8 mam but she making excuses as to wrong misleading site. Thanks

This particular location..."Customer service " Give prejudice vibes and interaction with Black Americans...Manager I think his name is Mike...Rude very rude...When cashier is rude and wrong..You ask for help...They didn't want to listen to my side...Told me to be quiet..If I want help...Moving Forward...Another situation at the self check out..Kroger Company..Tell your white people employees to stop being rude and giving prejudice vibes

I love shopping at Kroger and find that they have some of the best prices in town. My two biggest gripes, though, would be how finicky self checkout can be (if you go to the smaller self checkout lines that don’t have a belt, the register will wig out and only let you scan 10 items before calling over someone to help). My other gripe is the cleanliness of the restrooms or lack there of. Other than that, it’s a good place to shop!
