“Good heavens, why do I love this place so much!? Maybe because I've been reading lots of books lately about farming and living off the land: (Little Britches, Grapes of Wrath, Little House on the Prairie, Anne of Green Gables, etc.) I walk in and feel like I'm connecting myself to my heritage. It's a great place.”
“"Overwhelm" arrived while I was downsizing with one hand and hauling stuff in from a family home with the other. Boxes, furniture, stuff was everywhere! Decades of it. I decided to free myself by clearing out and transforming the new smaller space. It was scary. The search began for the right person to accomplish the goal of intentionally creating a haven. And, helping me let go of the physical stuff.
Upon meeting Kim Benson, I took an immediate like to her. Kim accepted the organize and re-create challenge.
The blues and greens on the walls came from a favorite rock. My heart's desire, deep drawers in the bathroom, magically blended in without construction. Ambient light. The eyesore of a fireplace's makeover is nothing short of amazing. There's a Rod Stewart trading card. The house is easy to keep straight. Kim decoupaged quotes inside the night table drawer. The pottery collection has never looked so beautiful. Kim found, and repaired, a Japanese goddess mask. Shelving units were added to closets.
You get the idea. It was a huge transformation. You'll like Kim, too.”
“THEDAN was a welcome help and personality after days of searching many stores for the perfect sofa to put into our brand new home. Well-informed, realistic, not pushy whatsoever and even suggested against certain purchases due to our living conditions with animals and young children. Overall, extremely pleasant experience, felt like I was walking around with a good buddy of mine.Miss Lasagna was awesome, too. I hung out a while after just to chat. Highly recommend this store!!”
“Clean store with easy access for individuals with disability issues. The parking is also disability friendly. The prices seemed very reasonable, and there were several great sales going on. I recommend them very highly.”
“Mr. Cheever’s professionalism, product knowledge & recommendations are just a few examples of why I will continue to shop Havertys.
He asked what I was looking for in a recliner. We went over different options, features & styles before I chose the beautiful grey leather Aviator model.
I loved the recliner so much I purchased two!
With the current sale, I also added a coffee and side table.
Thank you again Mr. Cheever for your help.
I will definitely send family & friends your way!

“This was an awesome place to visit. I was unaware that they were there, so when I SAW IT, I had to go in and look around. They way they display the items are very appealing.I enjoyed and will be back next time to buy the items I had my eye on if they are still there. I hope they are.”

250 Harbison Blvd, Columbia“Title: Discovering Treasures at Pop Shelf on Harbison BoulevardRating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)Pop Shelf on Harbison Boulevard is a delightful small store that carves its niche between the realms of Five Below, Dollar General, and Dollar Tree. This gem of a shop shines with its unique selection of items that cater to bargain hunters and treasure seekers alike.Upon entering, you're greeted by an array of affordable yet distinctive products. From quirky knickknacks to practical household goods, Pop Shelf offers a variety that sparks curiosity and invites exploration. It's an excellent destination for parents looking to entertain their children with new toys or activities without breaking the bank. What sets Pop Shelf apart is its surprising assortment of beauty and hair care products. Shoppers can find a wide selection of "Cemetery" (likely a typo, assuming it means a varied assortment) shampoos, soaps, and other hair essentials that rival the variety found in more specialized stores. This unexpected find is a boon for those looking to try new beauty products on a budget. The store also dabbles in gardening supplies, although this section is not its strongest suit. While there are some basic gardening items, those with a green thumb might find the selection somewhat lacking compared to specialized nurseries or home improvement stores.Pop Shelf is not the place for extensive shopping lists or bulk purchases. Instead, it excels as a haven for those seeking unusual items and affordable luxuries that are hard to find elsewhere. Whether you're on the hunt for a unique gift, a fun new product, or just a casual browse, Pop Shelf on Harbison Boulevard offers a pleasant shopping experience that's worth checking out.”
“Deloris was just amazing! Professional, fantastic personality and very knowledgeable in furniture . She provided some great design tips as well for my living room. My love seat and sofa will look beautiful in my home. I would recommend her to everyone I know!”
“$242 later! I loved my first experience here. My pockets are lighter, but I got everything I wanted. I was in heaven when I was in this store. Love it and will be back in moderation.”

“My 1st time visiting and I'll be back! Extensive selection of gifts and items for everyone on your list. Lovely staff and I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices!”
“Smells sooooooo good! I really enjoy shopping here. If they don't have what you need in-store, trust me they can have it shipped to you. I tend to run into issues with items I would like with our last name initial "O".
Got a little Coffee Bar thing going on. Still in progress and far from done, however I found these cute Canisters and Gold Spoons.”
“Reasonably priced home goods store. Somewhat of a knock-off "At Home Store" without the higher price tags. I would be shocked if you can't find what you're looking for there... They also offer a military discount!!! ”
“Some Isle clutter but it had so many lovely things to look through and so many sales going on the few boxes and carts in the way didn't effect my experience shopping here. Staff were helpful and courteous. I still find it strange they are such a big store and still input prices by hand because they haven't caught on with all the big stores and the barcoding system but it feels more personable honestly and there were so many deals. Nearly the entire store was covered with 50% off signs and it was fun to shop those deals.”

312 State St, West Columbia“Not many people know this, but The Warehouse was voted the #1 Antique and Consignment Shop in South Carolina by The State News Paper. Jay, the owner, is always willing to help his customers in whatever they need. He finds the most interesting and beautiful things around... a lot of which come from amazing estates around the state! His staff are all very nice and love helping people and being involved in the community. Be sure to check out this place, Rob Shaw Gallery, State Street Trading, and more awesome local businesses every First Friday of the month!”
“I had no idea I was being helped by the assistant manager! She helped me as I had my baby in my arm, took the time to get me a basket to place my wine in, and was just so patient with me!Thank you so much!!Update: I went back recently and could not remember what I purchased last time and guess who did? The assistant manager and again she was so patient and kind. Thank you over and over!”
“Finally visited, and so glad we did! We were greeted when we entered and offered coffee and snacks. I had my 4 year old, and one of the employees caught on to the fact that she was wanting to touch everything. That's when Sandy stepped in and took my daughter around the store where she made a game for her to count different items. Sandy also took the items we were buying from our hands and placed them up at the counter until we were ready to check out. All of the staff there were also friendly and accommodating, and the prices were very reasonable! We will definitely be back!”

3521 Bush River Rd, Columbia“JJ, Jan, Tracie, and the entire team at The Lite House are absolutely the best in the lighting business! They helped design my lighting plan 30 years ago for my home and again this year as we renovated our 30 year old home! Love this company!”
“Stopped in here on 1/5/23. Haven't purchased anything - yet. Good displays. A lot on display. Plenty of parking. Helpful and Friendly staff. Prices are up, but reasonable for the quality you purchase. If you are looking for good furniture - give them a look.”

101 Harbison Blvd, Columbia“Excellent showroom. Friendly staff. I love Ethan Allen because the quality and style hold up over time but the prices are only a bit on the high side. It's hard to find anything upper mid range anymore. Most other stores are total junk made overseas that will only last a year or 2--or the other shops end super top quality but those shops will cost the price of my car just for a coffee table. Ethan Allen is literally one of the only options left for quality and decent price. Check them out.”
10:30AM - 5:30PM
614 Meeting St, West Columbia“Great place to buy gifts for the holidays or for your home. Pam & Marion are the best, they have a really nice business. Don't pass up the candies near the checkout!”
“Design services are amazing. Michael C. offered great insight on materials as well as problem solving on some challenges we weren't sure how to solve. Super knowledge of all the products.”

210 W Main St, Lexington“Absolutely love this shop! It's about an hour drive for me, but so worth it. It has a diverse offering of quality, well-priced items, and the displays are lovely and ever-changing. There is something for everyone and for all age groups. Speciality clothing, wreaths, jewelry, stationary, journals, garden /home decor, seasonal ornaments as well as one-of-a-kind, handmade pottery, handbags, and candle displays- just to name a few of the items I saw on my excursion this afternoon. If you enjoy finding something "special," this shop is for you.”
“Nice little shop.. a little expensive but have some neat items. I gave it 4 stars just because of prices and it seemed over crowded was not much room to walk around and there were only 4 people in there at the time but the staff were friendly and it is nice little shop.”

“Shopping for a mattress & adjustable base can be challenging. Thanks to Danielle, the sales associate, my experience was great! She asked questions in order to narrow down the best mattress for my needs. She explained the construction, operation and warranty of the mattress & the base. Not only is she knowledgeable, she is very pleasant and isn't "pushy" as some sales people are. If you are in need of a mattress, it is worth the drive to Harbison Blvd. in Columbia, SC. Ask for Danielle; she's a gem!”
