Dr. Mundell is compassionate, very knowledgeable, and kind. He treats my pets with care and gentleness. True appointment times without long waits. Staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. Great veterinary services at very affordable rates! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Love Friarsgate!!! Everyone is so kind and helpful with our babies! They love all of them! The care is phenomenal !!! It's always a great place, get seen on time and place is so nice and clean!!!

I imagine there is probably a bad experience for every vet out there but here's mine for Friarsgate - Six years ago I took my 15-1/2 year-old Chesapeake Bay retriever to Friarsgate specifically to have her hips x-rayed because she was having a hard time walking. I asked them to do that and I also agreed to have them do a full examination because she hadn't had one in a while. After they finished they told me I would get the results in a couple of days and and they charged me over $400 for everything. When I didn't hear from them, I called and they said everything looked OK but when I asked about the x-ray they said "oh we didn't do that". They told me I would have to bring her back in which was a pain because at that point I literally had to pick up this 100 pound dog and put her in the car because she couldn't jump in on her own. (I had a 2002 Prius at the time which was very low to the ground so that tells you how bad off she was). I decided just not to fool with it. A couple of days after that they called to tell me that they hadn't charged me for all the services that they had provided and that I owed them another $42. When I said that they hadn't provided the services I had requested, that they had charged me enough already, and that I wasn't going to pay it; they informed me either I would pay it or they would turn it over to collections. And sure enough that's what they did. I am still getting letters from a collection agency six years later - the most recent just two weeks ago. Needless to say I never went back.

Def recommend this spot! They are doing a great job managing appointments through curbside services. The Doc always comes out to fully explain everything going on or anything they noticed with our pups. The vet assistants/vet techs are so nice here & always so kind & gentle with our babies.

I have been going to Friarsgate Animal Hospital for at least 8 years and I will never take my sweet baby anywhere else! The staff is kind and courteous and highly knowledgeable. I never have any doubts when I leave about care and they always completely answer my questions.

Hello, My Mom and I have been using Friarsgate Animal hospital for ALL our Doggie's need for more than 20 years! The Veterinarian's as well as the staff are top notch. We have never had any problems with them, if we just call for a question to be answered, or getting our dogs in there immediately for any serious situations or illnesses. I believe in the past 20 years they have cared for at least 9 of our loving dogs. I highly recommend these DVM and their staff if you are new to the area. I have adopted 2 dogs that were born blind, and the first thing I do with my animals is to go to this animal hospital for a thorough check up, to make sure there is no other under lying ailments that I was not told about. To me, this is my only place for my 4 legged children to go!!!! in search of caring people who love animals.

The doctors and techs here are fantastic. Friendly and knowledgable, professional and personable. We live out of town and still drive 1.5 hours to bring our dogs to them when we need an opinion on something more serious. They did surgery on our dog's knee last year and were extremely helpful in the recovery process. Dog has not had any issues with that leg since.
