Clean place and pleasant staff. Vet was very kind and even got on the phone with me twice to answer more questions I had. Honestly, didn’t know they were there or I would have went since my vet retired (love to Dr. Shumpert). They see exotics unlike most clinics. I’ve usually had to go to Sunset Animal clinic for that. That is kind of far for me. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years. Corner Stone Animal clinics doctor did not dumb down answers, I hate it when Doctors do that. This was the first time I had been, I did not know this guy, and it was an unusual case. He was very nice and accommodating and I would probably bring my dogs to him now. It’s not a huge fancy Vet, but nobody needs that anyway unless you got megabucks. I definitely like them and I hope they stay the way they are.

Drive 2 hours to get here, and it was worth every mile! Now I have a new favorite Exotics Veterinarian! Mr. Pink can't wait to come back!

Dr. Benson and the amazing staff, from the front desk to the back, truly saved our 8-year-old bunny, Finnegan. The care and attention he received were above and beyond. During Finnegan’s 6-day, 7-night emergency stay, I never once had to wonder what was going on or when I’d hear from the vet. Every morning and evening, the doctor and staff reached out to us, providing all the updates we needed. They even would text when a call wasn’t convenient. They reassured us that at any time between the scheduled calls, we were encouraged to check in if we had any concerns or were just curious about Finnegan’s progress.
With Finnegan’s extended stay, they even encouraged us to visit him in their visitation room, which we happily did! I have never received such tremendous support from a veterinary team. Dr. Benson explained every possible avenue for Finnegan’s care, being thorough and upfront with the costs of each option. He did not immediately suggest a stressful surgery. Instead, he and his staff carefully monitored Finnegan with their initial plan of action. After two days, when the results we were hoping for didn’t appear, we decided to proceed with surgery.
Although it was a stressful time for all of us, including Finnegan, he could not have been in better care. Now, one week post-op, Finnegan is home and slowly but surely making what appears to be a full recovery. The check-ins from Dr. Benson and his staff have continued even after Finnegan came home. I would wholeheartedly recommend the staff at Cornerstone Animal Hospital without hesitation. I cannot thank each of them enough for their love, care, and comforting support during such an emotional time for us.

Dr. Benson is my avian vet. He is timely, professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. He never makes me feel rushed and takes the time to answer all my questions. He helps educate me and shares helpful insights to keep my conure healthy and safe. Highly recommend!

The best vet around. Especially for exotics. Their drop off and pick up is a life saver. I love them for all 10 of my animals.

They saved my squirrel ? Joey was so sick and this vet could see her the quickest so even with an hour and 40 min drive we went and so glad I did. They were all so nice and the place was extremely clean. If you need an exotic vet see them. They even see monkeys ? I asked if they would see my chickens and they said yes but they do not see pigs which sucks lol because I may need a vet for her one day. Their prices were very reasonable I had to make mine into two visits bc I didn’t have enough all at once but they were a big help. Definitely recommend!

Friendly staff, but not very accurate and professional in terms of customer service. For instance, I was told I'd be called if my pet was ready by 4pm. After receiving no call, I called around 530pm (a half hour before closing and I live a half hour away) and was told, "oh, the doctor was expecting you here at 4pm." That was news to me. I was also told the doctor would email the lab results this Wednesday. It's currently Thursday and we are anxiously still awaiting them.
