Terrible experience. I saw a king bed posted on Facebook marketplace for a good price and messaged seller to find out it was at a store. Owner seemed nice and agreed to meet me to get the bed. I drove 40 minutes to get. I guess I should have taken the 3 HUGE boxes apart in the store to verify that every single piece was there but didn't even think about it (what actual retailer doesn't allow returns... Only ones with illegitimate business practices and knows they are selling faulty product, most also advertise if pieces are missing). Went to assemble bed and ALL the hardware was missing. Basically it has the headboard and footboard and slabs but was missing over 50 pieces to stabilize the bed. I messaged Brandi hoping it was an honest mistake and maybe the box was at her shop and we could pick up, she answered me once that she would look but I could pick up some of the hardware at the store (some of it you can buy at Lowe's some if it I can not as it's specific for this bed) then she quit answering me period. I reached out to manufacturer and they want $125 for missing parts alone and I'll spend at least $50 at Lowe's to rig the bed myself, but Brandi doesnt care and hasn't bothered to answer my messages. I guess she got her money and doesn't care who she takes advantage of. Steer clear of her and this business- there are many legit overstock places now with a REAL business!!!

Returns, damages, and defects. Should have taken photos but it was pretty messy. Wal-Mart and target returned furniture. All sales final with no returns or exchanges and you'd have to figure out on your own while you're there if all the parts are inside since all the boxes have been opened. And good luck actually finding the store open. The hours seems to be figurative and the owner/employees pick and choose when to show up. Phone number doesn't work because they stopped paying their magic Jack bill.

Should update hours! I've stopped by on three occasions now only to find out they are closed during posted business hours.

Wow what a great selection of stuff... And of course, inventory comes in all the time and it seems to be fresh and good... The people who run this are very nice and professional and the prices from what I can tell you're very very good. So when you have such nice people and good prices and an array of product it's hard to go wrong...

The owner is super nice, very responsive, and even kept the store open later than usual so I could come and pick something up. I got a brand new bed frame for less than half of what it cost new! Super happy and will be watching for new items. 😊

I love this place my mom and I always go. Mrs. Brandy and her staff are very friendly and if you have a question about an item they will answer it. Keep doing your thang Mrs. Brandy, your prices are very affordable. You get 5 stars from me and I approve this message.

I have been to Ava Jae's many times over the past few months. I keep hoping it will get better. I really want to like this store. Pros: The store has decent prices on most items. Decent location if you live in inman. However, the prices at a similar business SNH are better. Lots of space and a good amount of inventory- if you catch them on a good day. The space is a really cool old brick building with lots of character. Cons: Most of the furniture isn't set up and is still in dented boxes and when you take it home, if there is a problem, you can't return it. I wish more items were out to make sure they are in good shape. Also, very difficult to park and to access the store. The parking spots are full of garbage and broken glass. The customer service is very poor. The employees/owners always seem annoyed if you ask questions or for assistance. They don't want to be bothered. Unfriendly. It is an unprofessional setup- seems like someone without business experience selling stuff out of her garage. Many items aren't priced and they just seem to make up prices when you ask. Their Facebook page is their website but is full of unprofessional and grammatically incorrect high school rantings. I am constantly surprised by the level of unprofessionaliam. I do want to like this place. It's a good idea and could be really great if they got some friendlier employees and put customer service first.

Unique shopping experience. Wide variety of items, different inventory each time you visit. Great prices, way below retail. Worth the drive if you're not from Inman.

This store was the best. They have a variety of everything..... it was worth the 1.5 hour drive. Not only is it a unique store the staff is the friendliest people I've ever met. Actually almost felt like sitting down and drinking coffee with them! I highly recommend checking them out.... great price. Great value and exceptional customer service
