Very convenient for a quick eye exam. At many hospitals, the receptionists are unable to put in my insurance card (it is a company coverage).However at this center, Inez was super helpful. She is the first person I've met who didn't need 40min to figure out what my insurance card was through. She just took a glance and knew right away! She was also very helpful in explaining to me how, in the future, I can help other medical staff put in my insurance card information (since usually, it takes a whole team to figure out how to put in my insurance information at any other clinic/doctor's office).

I’ve been here twice and both times the people working here are so rude! Went in today to get my sunglasses fixed. Woman didn’t seem to care and pointed me to a cheap $4 screw repair kit. Yep, you guessed it, didn’t work! Don’t bother going to this location, they are not helpful! Visited on 1/27/2023 around 5:30.

Was in yesterday to get a band for my nephew’s glasses that weren’t fitting properly. We received the warmest welcome from Chavis, the associate who greeted usShe adjusted them, replaced nose pads, cleaned them, and picked out the proper headband for them with a smile on her face!In a time where it’s often more convenient to shop online, Chavis was a shining example of great customer service, and she went above and beyond that. My nephew normally does to another office for glasses, but the care and consideration was so above average, I’m making an appointment to start his eye care needs at WalMart, because I know Chavis and her coworkers will do a great job while making us feel welcomed. Thank you Chavis! That interaction stayed with me all day!

I agree with the other reviews Doris/Dori is GREAT!!! But unfortunately she retired in 10/2021. I had COMPLETE TRUST and GREAT EXPERIENCE with Dori. However, I know that they have been SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED and it does not appear that Walmart really cares. My last glasses were just so-so. I think the jury is out on their service and their products. I am actually taking my glassed back tomorrow. If Dori was there, I would give her 5 stars, but in looking at the big picture, I am less than thrilled with their optical service. Please bring Dori back!

Mark the technician, the tall elderly Caucasian guy who works on the glasses will benefit from customer service training/ re-training. He comes across as wanting to make decisions for the client instead of giving them the information they need to make informed decisions on their own. He also did not give me the time and space to pick my son’s frames: I felt very rushed. There’s a lot missing with his mannerism and how he interacts with customers. I did not feel welcome and he acted as though our presence was an annoyance. Also, not only did he write down my son’s birthday incorrectly, he also wrote my husband’s name written incorrectly and had a hard time finding them in the system. I visited on 04/19/2021

Chavis and the optometrist on duty this morning truly made my day. Upon entering Chavis greeted me and quickly responded to my concerns as I thought my glasses were unrepairable. After not being able to find frames to fit my lenses on the wall, she asked if it was ok to check with the optometrist to see if he can repair them. He was hesitant but said he would try his best and not even 5 minutes later Chavis came back with them better than ever. I was so happy because I'm from out of town and needed my glasses desperately. Just wanna thank u guys so much!!

The optical center is a joke - the hours are a joke - went in Sunday at 10am and was told the tech was on break which I thought was odd because it just opened at 10am - I waited until 11:43 and when she came back she said she could only assist me with sunglasses or glass cases - she wasn’t licensed to sell glasses. I had my prescription with me I just needed to order the glasses. I spoke to the manager and asked why the hours say the optical center is open 10am-3pm- the manager was completely useless and didn’t even apologize - and frankly didn’t care at all that the optical center was closed or care much about anything. Horrible experience

Went in today to have my glasses legs fixed, a nice lady fixed it for me in no time! Great service and was free of charge! Will continue getting my vision gear from them!

Fantastic service at the Indian Land Walmart Vision Center. Great prices on glasses for my 11 year old son. Take 2 of my children there for eye exams. (Ages 15 & 13) My husband and Mother-in-Law get eye exams and glasses there as well. Love the staff. Ask for Doris, she’s wonderful.
