Very nice park. Owners and staff are very nice. They take very good care of the new concrete pads. Very pleasant. Nice pond has some ducks peaceful and quiet. All pads have a fire pit picnic table and umbrella. I'd have given it 5 stars, only because we take our dogs and a dog park would have been wonderful. All and all a very nice place and reasonable prices! We had a lovely stay, would definitely come back.

Nice RV park. Staff, grounds, location, experience...all exceptional! My only 2 little comments would be...there are train tracks nearby that roll through early AM so if you're an early riser...you'll be fine. Can't change the location of the park...so just be prepared. With pets welcome they accommodate waste bags but no designated receptacle for the waste and there is no "off leash" designated area to let your pets roam free for a minute. All in all loved the park. Would book again!Thank you Lake Aire!!

Staff was super nice realized we were to big for the site and moved us to another. The second site was better. Price reasonable I was expecting pass port America but they don’t do it anymore but there are other discounts they do do. Charleston is not they far but traffic is ridiculous. Driving a big truck streets by battery is super narrow and hard to find a place to park. We only were4 days a. Because of traffic we didn’t get to see as much as we wanted to.

A nice family owned RV park very conveniently located close to Charleston. The park is kind of close to railroad tracks and the railroad was busy on Sunday night. The park has just added about 15 beautiful spacious all cement pull through sites. The gravel driveway into the park and back to your site has some pretty good size potholes but it keeps the speed down. Catch and release fishing pond. The WiFi and cel reception is pretty much non-existent but the digital TV signal is outstanding!!

Worse campground we've been to. As 2 adult full-timers, we're difficult to displease, but this place seems to go out of its way to suck. Staff is rude, grounds are messy, bathrooms are gross, and the entire atmosphere is one of discomfort & dysfunction. There's a maintenance person living in a run-down home on the property, but he doesn't seem to do much of anything. When we asked about the pool opening, he told us, "You'll know when it's open, 'cause they'll be people in it, " and, "I can't open it with sh*t floating around in there." He is, by far, the rudest, most surly and laziest person we've ever seen working at any campground. Especially disconcerting was the campground owner's high school-aged grandson roaming the park at night with his friends in a drunken stupor, and actually knocking on campers' doors looking for alcohol and drugs. These same kids ride around the park on golf-carts at 30 mph, kicking up dust, gravel and danger for kids and pets. The owner lives out of state, leaving the park in the hands of a son who obviously likes to drink -- to a point where he kept his maintenance man at-hand to baby sit him -- and then went MIA for several days. (This is the only work we saw the maintenance perform during our weeks-long visit.) One of our biggest worries was homeless people coming off the streets to shower and use the laundry room. The office said they knew it was happening, but had no way to stop them short of putting a gate out front. There is nothing in the way of any security, save glaring floodlights which give the park a correctional facility-feel. Again, we're able to take care of ourselves, but I wouldn't advise anyone with children, or those who expect a calm & safe environment, to choose Lake Aire for any sort of vacation. There are other campgrounds in the area which are closer to the attractions Charleston has to offer, and staffed with folks who seem more to appreciate our business.

Nice camp ground, it was pretty quiet when we were there so we had plenty of space. It was nice being surrounded by nature, we saw turtle, fish and of course the local ducks. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms are a little run down and the door was wedged open so at night the bathrooms were full of bugs.

Very nice staff. They keep the park clean and well maintained. The price per night is just right to keep us coming back. Location is about 20 minutes from most places.Quite most of the time. A train rolls by now and then.

This campground was a great place to go for the 4 of July. The fireworks were the best and we enjoyed our stay. Charlestown is a delightful place.

Nice quiet park. Convenient to all the cool stuff in Charleston. Lots are grass and gravel. Pretty good sized. They have an expansion going in the front which will be nice when complete. The staff are very friendly and also very helpful. The only bummer is the gravel. It's dusty when dry and a mess after it rains. We're not fans. Other than that, it's a cool place to stay.

Convenient to Charleston, and parts of the park are nice. My gripe is they crammed me into a site that was right on top of my neighbor when there were 4 empty sites in the row behind me that had plenty of room for my 36’ rig. The bathhouse is nothing to write home about either.
