Hilton Head is strapped for a decent tackle shop. West Marine fills that gap.
In a bind at the 11th hour, the night before a fishing trip, Lewis at West Marine went above and beyond to help get me the gear that I needed to accomplish what I needed done.
I am typically a fan of using mom and pop tackle shops, put on Hilton head West Marine is your only, and Best, option.

Paid boat load of $$$ for battery. Ordered on line for pick up. Good thing got there right away. It was sitting in entry way of first doors. Kid at register had no idea where he was .

I had ordered a Garmin unit on the website and went to pick it up on a Saturday morning.
I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the store rep,whose name is Austin,knew exactly where and what my order was.
I asked about a display of my model,he said they didn't have one.
So he took the one I purchased and powered it up.He then proceed to explain the maps ,gps,and navigate around the unit.
That type of customer service is not found very often anymore.
I am extremely grateful and will be shopping at west marine again.

Was in Hilton Head for vacation and wanted to fish. I am a noob when it comes to fishing. But came into the office and Mr Lewis was outstanding with his knowledge his help and his location of where to fish at their Hilton Head. His customer service was excellent. Definitely wish where I am at now We had a Mr Lewis!

It would be nice if the store manager would update the correct time that the estimate opens the doors. It says 9 am its almost 10am doors are locked.
