Was there a couple weeks ago on vacation and it was the closet pharmacy to our location. Needed advice for pain management for severe arthritis pain waking me at night .Pharmacist was very helpful and made several suggestions that helped me sleep.

Just visited and was told they were closing in 5 minutes prior to 11:40. Website said they close at midnight. Very rude and stalked me like they were scared I was gonna steal something. SMH. racial profiling. and very rude

This location had no interest in taking care of anyone, must less the “local” population. They only want to stock shelves and do the bare minimum for tourists. The pharmacist is a god awful prick.

Pharmacist was horrible to my aunt and made her cry. Told her he didn't have time for her and she shouldn't bother coming back because he wasn't going to fill her meds.

I am visiting HHI on vacation. I pre paid for my prescription through express pay. The cashier told me it hadn’t been paid so I gave them my HSA card. I was double charged for the Rx and when I called to have it fixed they told me I had to come back in for the refund. The cashier wouldn’t listen to me when I told her four times I had already paid for the Rx. Horrible customer service all around: highly do NOT recommend this Walgreens.

I live in the Midwest where our Walgreens and Pharmacy in high population areas are top notch we go to Hilton Head island every year and this is our go to Walgreens and Pharmacy when we are in the area. I wasn’t expecting it to be as great as the locations back home but it is absolutely GREAT and might even be better than the ones back home. The pharmacy went above and beyond for us multiple times without hesitation even ordering things they wouldn’t normally carry and getting it to us in less than 24hours. We were extremely great full. They even remember us and we remember them. That small town feel. You gotta love that. Excellent location. This will be our SC pharmacy for many years.

Walgreens called to tell me my prescription for nitroglycerin was ready on Friday night. My husband went to pick it up Saturday. He gets to the store and is told the pharmacy is closed on weekends. A person whom he believed was the manager, told him to go to the nearest location, about 6 miles, that was open. In the meantime I called that store and learned that their pharmacy was also closed. That manager suggested another store about 12 miles away. According to the phone message, the nearest open pharmacy is in Savannah Ga! Fortunately I still have some nitro tablets. But I was unable to get the nitro spray, which my Dr feels will be more effective, quickly. It’s time to find a new pharmacy.

The Walgreens Pharmacy, at Palmetto Bay Road on Hilton Head Island, was horrible! The pharmacist was, short, rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. My husband asked if the pharmacy had received a script from a well known hospital in the Midwest. The pharmacist at Walgreens, quickly said that no script had been received. My husband was actually speaking with the hospital employee who sent that script, on speaker phone, who stated the script had been sent at 3:58 and Walgreens confirmed receiving the script at 3:59. The pharmacist overheard this conversation and suddenly his attitude changed, he found the script. In the end, the pharmacist failed to give my husband's prescription drug insurance card back at the end of the transaction. We called the next day, the pharmacy reluctantly acknowledged they had the card, and would send it immediately. One week later, it still hasn't arrived. This Walgreens Pharmacy at Palmetto Bay Road, makes quick statements without checking facts. It was frustrating for my husband who is a cancer patient and needed an important drug immediately.
