I made a purchase on my Talbots credit card at Hilton Head Talbots and when I returned it, they gave me a profile credit instead of a credit to my Talbots card. The store manager was indignant and would not explain why this was done. Corporate Talbots corrected the situation immediately. 5 stars for corporate; should be no stars for Hilton Head Talbots!

Today, March 11,2023 I went into the Talbots store number 1243 Shelter Cove Town Center on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. My expectations were that I would receive the same courteous, professional, and knowledgeable service that I had received at other Talbots stores in which I have shopped. To my great disappointment no one spoke to me, I was never acknowledged, and at no time during my visit did a sales associate approached me to see if she could be helpful. In fact, both sales ladies never got out from behind the desk. Once I obtained the clothing that I wanted to try on, no one even offered to show me a dressing room! I found this whole visit to be totally unacceptable and if I were in management at Talbot's, I would seriously look at the quality of the customer service given to their clients. By shopping elsewhere today Talbots lost $800 in sales.

Nice clothing options in the Women's Department however the prices were expensive.

My wife found nice clothes there. It's pricey. I think we were $200 for a bouse and a pair of pants but they were both very nice. They have great customer service.

Unfriendly and not helpful! My grandmother gave me a shirt, but bought the wrong size. I tried to exchange it for the correct size, and they were not helpful at all, even bordering on rude! I believe it's this location bc other locations have been a bit more helpful.

It was around 6.45 we knew they closed at 7 and the sales person made it very obvious by looking at her watch !!!!

Love this store and the employees are always so helpful. I’ve shopped Talbots for years now and the thing I love about them is a size 12 is always a size 12! No guess work. Good quality and workmanship.
