We were leaving our dog with the Doggy Day Care next door. When reviewing his paperwork, we discovered his rabies shot had expired and he would not be allowed to stay without receiving a new one. The hospital took him in and gave him the vaccine and then delivered him to their day-care center. Saved our round of golf that day! Thank you for your quick service to make our day. Golf sucked...but that's another story...

Love doctor T but had to leave the practice after being told I would be charged for unnecessary fees. I took my dog there in September and was told he needed a booster. Any other vet practice would have you come in and pay a tech fee and the vaccine cost. I was told that only a vet could administer vaccines which subsequently incurs a vet fee. That didn’t seem quite right so I spoke with a friend and another vet practice who confirmed that there are vaccine appointments and those do not require a veterinarian. Mind you, I’ve also owned multiple dogs for over 20 years so I am not new to dog ownership. Things do change so I went and asked the question to confirm my previous understanding. I called the office again just to confirm that my dog would need a vet charge visit to administer a booster. I was told that the vet has to be the one to do the vaccine. I told the receptionist that I would likely be taking my business elsewhere. The lady told me that this is how it’s done everywhere as if being misled to believe that this was normal practice and vet techs cannot administer vaccines across any practice. I replied that was not true and that I just confirmed this speaking with another local vet. I feel lied to and feel that my wallet was going to be taken advantage of. I switched to another practice that day and incurred the cost of a new pet visit so I didn’t have to pay a vet to administer something to make a little extra money. The vets are great but I question the integrity of the practice and their policies.

Very impressed with the level of care Plantation Animal Hospital gave my dog Tucker. I was especially impressed that they reached out to me the next day to see how he was doing. Highly recommend.

We were in town on short notice due to hurricane Milton and needed a place for our dog to stay. When we arrived, we found out that one of his vaccines was expired and needed it before they could board him. Plantation was so accommodating to get him scheduled the same day and even went to the boarding facility next door to get him so that we didn’t have to stay around. The people were so friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you!!

Everyone here is always very nice and they realize it's best to get you in and out. I came with my English Bulldog who loves the car, but dislikes the vet! He gets very anxious and causes him to breath heavy, which you know is not good for this breed. They allowed me to weigh him quickly and the doctor was ready for him. We were there for an ear infection, they did a quick exam and the results were positive. Meds and ear cleaner in my hands, we were out the door! Now, I will say the bill was higher than I expected, but we did get allergy meds too. It was $350 for this visit. Parking is always available, not a busy waiting room and it's clean.

We had an emergency while in town. My pups ear was really red and I knew it was an ear infection. Thankfully they had an appointment available the same day I called. They treated the ear and took good care of him. Everyone was so nice in the office and am so glad I found this place. Highly recommend Dr Parnell and her team. Thank you for taking care of us so quickly!
