Do not shop at this store! Owner is so rude and yelled at my child for touching a toy he wanted to buy. My son is 11 years old and picked up a plastic toy and he yelled at him and told him to read the sign. Take your business elsewhere. Will never step foot in there again!

Conveniently located in the heart of harbour town. Has lots of beach attire, toiletries, ice cream, etc.

Toys have packaging that say try me but owner yells if your kid touches anything. Skip this place and head to another option in Harbor Town.
Plenty of other toy stores and places for apparel, ice cream and drinks.

It took me 2 hours of recovery to get over the second hand embarrassment after the grown man working the counter told children to read the signs that say “do not play with the toys” in the toy store.
Owners have some major issues clearly and I feel bad for the young workers they put through that on a daily basis. This store was on our regular rotation each vacation but now with a young niece I’d definitely suggest to avoid.

A worker scolded me and my children for touching the toys that were on the shelves and floor when they were trying to pick out something they wanted to buy. My 4 year old asked me after we left why that man was mean to us. Do not go here especially if you have young children.

Do not go here for ice cream if you have any kids with dairy or any other allergies!!!! NOT Allergy Safe!!!!! I would give it 0 stars if I could...when we went in we asked about allergies and how friendly they were towards kids with allergies and they said they do not serve you if you have allergies.
*** Go to Cinnamon Bear a few doors down, they took care of our kid with anaphylaxis dairy allergies***

Worker scowled at our kids for playing with the toys that are in bins on the floor. If you don’t want kids to touch things, either don’t sell kids toys or move them to a shelf and add a sign. Very rude.

Google states that the Harbour Town General Store closes at 8pm, and other Harbour Town businesses I asked told me you close at 6pm. Either way, which time zone are you guys referring to?It's definitely not local time. I've stopped by the past two days and you've been closed at 5:30pm. Odd hours for a general store, even if it is off-season.

DONT GO HERE FOR ICE CREAM. The service was terrible and I paid $7 for the smallest ice cream I’ve ever gotten. Go to cinnamon bear next door, best place in harbor town.

I brought a friend to Hilton Head and he was looking at some jackets. He bought a hoodie and a keychain, for $65 and change. When we asked about the price, they refused to return anything and we're not polite about it

This is a pretty good store, and since they're renovations a few years ago, it's gotten even more awesome since they've added a Boar's Head deli with a full menu!There's also a little store in the back, and you can get ice cream at this place!
